I have tried many sugar subs and I think this is the closest to the real thing. It can be used just like brown sugar in equal amounts so there is no need for conversions and it taste’s delicious.

I don't mind the taste of Swerve, and enjoy it quite a bit, but it doesn't taste quite like real brown sugar. It's also a bit more clumpy/moist than regular brown sugar so it can be harder to work with, but overall I like it. The only other downside I can think of is that it's expensive compared to Splenda brown sugar or real brown sugar.

I’ve tried quite a few sugar substitutes over the years, and this one is hands-down my favorite, especially the brown sugar version. It has a really pleasant sweetness without being overpowering, and while there’s a slight cooling sensation (as you often get with sugar alternatives), it’s minimal and doesn’t take away from the overall flavor. What I love most is that it actually mimics real brown sugar pretty well. You even get a little bit of that crystal texture, which adds a nice touch. I use it all the time in my overnight oats, and it gives them that cozy, lightly caramelized flavor I’d normally expect from brown sugar without the added sugar or calories. It’s a great option if you’re watching your sugar intake or counting calories but still want something that feels like a treat. This has definitely earned a permanent spot in my pantry.
