It makes lovely crunchy popcorn, like the movie theater.We shake the pot to keep the kernels in an even flat fashion on the bottom of the pot, the use theCrank occasionally to spread them out. It cleans up easily with hot water and dish washing detergent.Great value and the popcorn you make has less preservatives that a bag in the microwave. The kids loveTo popcorn, it’s fun!

Badly made
Makes good popcorn but the gears fall apart easily. They are made of plastic, unlike the other Whirly Pops I’ve had. I had to return it and order one with metal gears.
