Plug-and-play solution for a 1995 Yamaha Virago 1100 for an excellent price
I haven't dealt with lighting "upgrades" and LED kits for many years, so I was sort of expecting the worst, especially taking a random shot in the dark at buying random (probably Chinesium) Amazon parts. I was figuring it just either flat out wouldn't work, would end up giving weird gremlin-type issues, give the annoying fast-blinking stuff or whatever, but these actually worked, and work well. And with my use case, I only have my one single headlight and this came in packs of 2, so I have a spare to hang onto. I popped the headlight off my bike, took out the old bulb, put one of the 2 that came with the kit in its place, turned my bike on and voilà, new LED light. Did not have to fool around with resistors, didn't need to adjust anything or have to fool with the stock reflective case. Using the incandescent/halogen OEM stock housing worked for these just fine. My bike is older and I don't have to worry about computer error codes or any of that junk, so I can't speak to if these would start throwing any codes. Output is perfect, both low-beam and high-beam work, the light quality is good, and they aren't stupidly outrageous so they blind everyting in a 5 mile radius driving at you. The color looks to me to be a bit on the cooler end of pure-white which tracks with the 6500k rating but it's far from being those annoying virtually blue lights you'll see on clapped out Honda Civics or whatever. You also get the added benefit of doing away with the energy intensive incandescents and saving some power, which at least in my use case with older motorcycles can mean a lot. Saving a few watts here and there by using LEDs can mean the difference of having that little extra headroom to install and run a USB-C buck converter to charge your phone and/or having heated gloves/grips, etc. I've put about 1,000 miles on the bike since installing them and so far have had zero issues, as well as a few night rides. At night the color of the light is great, it doesn't strain your eyes and lights up the area ahead of you nicely. The added intensity of the light and the 6500k color also work well during the day for running lights, they are much more noticible during the day compared to the old incandescents, which on a bike I'll take anything that means someone has a better chance of seeing you. I have noticed when I pull in/out of my dark garage, or at night when sitting behind a car at a stop light, that there is a bit of a jitter/flicker with the light. Kinda hard to explain but it sorta looks like how when you record video around certain fluorescent lights you get that flicker from the framerates not being sync'd up correctly. However it isn't nearly to that extent or that bad, as when riding down the road you don't notice it. It's so minimal it's to the point I honestly can't tell if it's just being caused by the vibrations of the motorcycle running, or actually coming from the light. Either way, it isn't close to being enough of an issue that it outweighs the pro's of using it.

Vast Improvement Over Halogen On My '97 4Runner! ZERO "Flickering"! Awesome Upgrade!
I was so impressed with the upgraded and markedly "Noticeable" improvement in clear BRIGHT nighttime road vision with these over the Halogen ones I'd been using on my 1997 4Runner, that I decided to leave a review for a few reasons. 1. These light up the road and sides of the road like I've never seen before! And the "High beams" easily light 150 yards ahead on straight flat roadway! I live in "Deer" country, and they are all over the place crossing our narrow TREE LINED roads at night. The sooner seen, the better! 2. On my model "computer" there is no issue with "Flickering"! They are as constant as any other I've used in this vehicle. Just WAY brighter! And 3. Interestingly enough, when I was first looking at these here and reading reviews, Amazon said.. "This WILL fit your 1997 Toyota 4Runner!" Today I come back to leave a review after being so impressed with these, and now clicking on the VERY same link in purchase history it says: "This DOES NOT Fit". Go Figure! Installation was no different than any other bulb change as I never touch the bulb surfaces anyway when changing them out, though they came with the gloves. and the "Seating Fit" was identical enough that they were nice and secure in the upright position, and the little wire clamp snapped right back securely locking them in place. I DID have to "fuss" with the rubber cup fitting over the connection area some to get the "seal" again on one side of the vehicle, but the rubber cups are FACTORY, and "Old" and a bit "stiff" now. Plug matched just great, though I did have to "wiggle" one side after it didn't light right up with the other one. Came right on! No issues since! VERY pleased I tried these! VAST improvement for the $$ and I feel "Safer" at night already! Hope this helped!

Best bulbs I ever bought.
UPDATE: I bought these in September 2025, and so far am nothing but pleased. I have gotten some friends to buy them as well, they too are amazed. In my part of Pennsylvania, the deer outnumber the people (and are only slightly dumber, I swear), so you have to be on guard constantly when you drive, especially at night. These things make the deer stand out very clearly, and their eyes reflect better at longer distance than other bulbs. I had a friend who installed these in his vehicle follow me one night, and these bulbs did NOT annoy in my rear view mirror as many factory LED headlights currently do (I'm talking to you, RAM truck owners). By the way, bear in mind any "shadow " area you might experience with these bulbs is due to the fact that reflector headlight assembles are not designed to work with bulbs that only emit light from two sides 180 degrees apart, but that that shadow area is still BRIGHTER than your previous bulbs ever were. It's just that that area isn't as bright as the rest of the pattern. Once you get this idea firmly in your mind, you will be fine with whatever pattern you may get .Read on for my original review, but suffice it to say, you want these ORIGINAL REVIEW... I had tried to install led lights in my vehicles previously, but a couple years ago they were all too big to fit in the housings. NOT ANYMORE! These lights ROCK! I have successfully installed them in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. There were no fitment problems at all...and the results are nothing short of wonderful. I was just about to purchase Silver star ultra bulbs when I came across these, and boy am I glad I found them! I have only a slight amount of shadow pattern from the led against the reflector bowls, nothing I will complain about, as the overall results are so, so superior. I did find I had to re-aim my lights slightly, and after I did, no one flashes me the brights with these installed (they DID with my silver star ultra bulbs in place). If they last longer than the ultra bulbs, I'm happy. I'd love them to last as long as they are rated for, but I'm a realist...and at this price, if they die in 18 months, they're competitive. The last thing I will mention is that these come in different lumens strengths, 40,000/70,000 and I noticed one at 80,000. Save your money...40,000 is all you need and you won't be able to tell the difference...I bought both and tried, it was indistinguishable. If you're familiar with photography, you know that doubling the amount of light is only one photographic stop of difference, and while it SOUNDS like a lot, the reality is it's pretty minor. To be noticeable to anyone, it would have to be about 4x the output. Believe me, these are more than sufficient.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These bulbs are a fantastic upgrade! They were easy to install and fit my vehicle perfectly. The brightness is a huge improvement over my old bulbs, making nighttime driving much safer. The light output is clear, crisp, and has a modern look. I’ve been using them for a while now, and they’ve performed flawlessly with no issues. Great quality for the price, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for brighter, more reliable headlights.

Does not work and appears to be used
Purchased 2025 Upgraded H11 LED bulbs. Item was nicely packaged, but upon opening I noticed the inside of the connectors on both bulbs looked quite dirty. The packaging looked new, but perhaps this was a returned item repackaged. The bulbs are supposed to be compatible with my vehicle, and they did fit fine, but they will not turn on. Replacement halogens work great. This is supposed to be the upgraded 2025 version that should not need a CANbus adapter. I would have to spend another $24 for an adapter on top of what I already spent on the bulbs to find out. The web site says the H11's are supposed to be compatible with 99+% of vehicles. I tried to get a replacement from Amazon, but although it says they can be returned, apparently if they are opened there is no option to return. The only option provided was a link to the manufacturer's web site, which appears to be just a product list. There is no customer support page, though there is a comment section. I might try that. At any rate I can't give more than one star for this experience. Update 5/27/25: After leaving a poor review the manufacturer (Fahren-Termitor-Direct) contacted me through Amazon and arranged to send me replacement bulbs directly. I received them about 5 days later. The package was shrink-wrapped so that gave me confidence the replacements were new. The replacement LED H11 bulbs worked without any adapter needed. The LED bulbs are noticeably brighter than the new Sylvania H11 Silverstar halogens I just swapped out, but it’s hard to say exactly by how much, and I didn’t have a chance to measure. Compared to the halogen bulbs that have a yellow tinge, these LEDs are more white. The replacement bulbs came with a card with the customer service email address on it ([email protected]), which I didn’t see on their website. I am impressed with their customer service. As for the Amazon return policy, it was my fault I didn’t see that the terms for returning is that the product must be in the “original condition”, meaning unopened. Since the bulbs come in a box that you have to open to see if they are likely to fit, it is a bit of a gamble. That was especially true in my case since these are the first automotive LED bulbs I have tried, and I have had other automotive parts purchased through Amazon that Amazon said fits my car, but does not. Since Amazon doesn’t take open items it doesn’t explain how I got a used pair. Clearly, these weren’t just open box merchandise, and judging from the dirty connectors they had to have been used for a while. Just be sure the original item packaging you receive is still shrink-wrapped. I am updating my review to 4 stars because of the performance of the product. I am not providing full 5 start due to the hassle I had to go through. I will update this review further after I see how many months I get out of a set and how well the LEDs perform.

Perfect replacement for my 2008 Toyota Highlander
It seems like everyone has bright white lights on their cars now. In comparison, the halogen lights on my 2008 Toyota Highlander looked quite dim. In fact, when driving on the road, my halogen headlights were quite inadequate. I decided to swap out the halogen lights with these headlights. They were a perfect drop-in replacement and it worked right away. Everything was much brighter immediately, and I can see again at night! Some reviewers mentioned that they had some flickering, but I did not experience any flickering. That said, if you do experience flickering, there is a small card included in the box that says to contact Termitor. They will send you a link to a "decoder" that you can purchase separately on Amazon (basically another connector that sits between your LED light and your car's headlight connector) to eliminate the flickering. Then send them the receipt afterwards and they will refund you the cost of the decoder. Another common issue I read in online forums when going to LED lights is that the fog lights may not work. This has to do with the fact that the LED bulbs draw a lot less current than the halogen lights, and somehow that tricks the car’s computer in thinking that the low beam headlight is not working (or off). The fog lights only come on when the headlights (specifically the low beam lights) are on. So if the computer thinks the headlights are off, the fog lights will not come on. Fortunately I didn’t have that problem with my car. The decoder will supposedly address that problem as well - the decoder is nothing more than a resistor that draws a higher current draw so that the car’s computer will recognize that the headlight is on and will allow the fog lights to come on. All in all, I'm really happy with these LED headlights. I no longer dread driving at night as I can see much more clearly now!
