Has a nice deep dish on it, but I wish it had the groove where the Ulu could sit in the board like my mom's has. I love my Ulu for chopping vegetables, etc.!

Love this tool!!! It can be used for everything from mincing herbs to cutting a steak on your plate with ease. Very little pressure or movement. I use mine all the time! So glad Alaskas people are sharing!!

Ulu Knife Sharpener
The Ulu knife has one side of the blade that is sharp. Most all manual hand-held sharpeners sharpen both sides of the blade. The Alaska Ulu Sharpener sharpens only one side of the blade.
