I purchased a portable AC unit because I live in a two-story home and our thermostat is on the bottom floor so upstairs gets extremely hot compared to downstairs. In the summer here it gets very hot and windows hit the East and west of my house all day long. The bedroom would get to be about 10-15 degrees warmer than downstairs and the central AC would turn off because the thermostat downstairs would say it hit temperature. My kids then decided they would sleep in my room to stay cool. So, I purchased these when they were on sale and I figured I would give them a try. They cool down the room very quickly especially if you put on quick cool mode. The noise is as expected for an AC unit. Much quieter than a normal window unit you would have installed in the window itself through and less to deal with. I love the fact that it recycles the moisture so you don't have water dripping out of the windows as under the window is where people would walk or be at our front door. Also, the neighborhood I'm in has an HOA and the kids' rooms are at the front of the house which would end up being a violation if i had half an AC unit sticking out of the window. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and will purchase again if I need to in the future. I have used them this whole summer and it's finally starting to cool down here, so we use them in fan mode now to help keep air moving.

Absolutely wonderful. We have an old home with no central AC and it was a HOT summer. We have a smaller window we wanted to put it in so my husband cut the piece that slides in the window easily with a hack saw to personalize it for our small width window. It gets so cold in our first floor now! I would say we have a bigger than average dinning room (where it gets hooked up) and a connected living room with a kitchen off to the side that are all cooled to a great temperature with this small appliance. I keep a bucket under the hose where it dispels the water, which is also awesome because it takes the moisture out of the air as well when it’s hot and humid. It’s not especially loud when it’s running and I often run it a while and turn it off because of how well it works. I’m extremely happy because getting a mini split put in would’ve been a lot more money and this was such a good value for how great the quality is and how well it works. We did get the higher strength one? I’m not sure what the measurement is but it was 12,000 btu and with the discount on Amazon about $270? Having this for years is going to be amazing with the summers getting worse as we get older. We haven’t used just the fan but it has multiple speeds and settings which are nice for spring for fall to circulate the air. I feel so fortunate to have found this.

I needed an air conditioner for my garage where I work and did not want one that would hang out my front window. In doing some research I found this one and used it several times even during extremely hot days and found it cooled the space rather quickly. I never had it run long enough to establish if it would get actual cold but it did the job for which I needed and I was able to work without sweat running down my face. It's pretty compact and has wheels so now that it's winter I have it neatly tucked away and ready for next summer. It was so easy to run the line for condensation which is included and hardly noticeable as it's the only thing hanging out the window. It includes a piece to cover a pretty big window gap as well and if you dont have a window that large you can just cut it down. The price was also great. I looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and they were way to pricey for my budget. I would highly recommend this portable air conditioner for someone looking for a similar need or even for a bedroom if you don't have central air or want/need an emergency backup.

I was disappointed with this air conditioner, but decided to keep it because it does keep you cool if it's blowing on you. I bought this to install in my garage/gym. I did not have a window to install the device they supplied for the exhaust hose, and did not think it would look good to cut a hole for that device; therefore, I purchased a nice dryer vent that matched my house and cut a hole and attached the 6" hose they supplied. I also had an issue getting the slide hose attachment to stay connected to the air conditioner. I had to take my hot melt gun and glue around the connection to keep it attached. I also bought a two-pack of drainage hoses so that I didn't have to connect it to the top drainage and then remove it to attach to the lower one when the "full" light comes on. Finally, the unit never drops the temperature. It does maintain the temperature for a while, but the temperature will still climb a degree or two after a while. The unit claims it will cool a 620 square foot room. My garage is only 580 square feet. Again, I kept the unit because of all the work I did to try to make it work, and it is better than a fan and will keep you cool as long as it's blowing on you.

This portable AC has been a life saver. I purchased it just to cool my bedroom a little more but have since needed to lend it out. The noise level is low but if you are sensitive to noises, it does get a little louder when it kicks on. My friend has been using the unit to cool his home as his AC went out and Las Vegas is sitting at near record highs. This unit cooled his room to 75 degrees while the rest of the house was sitting between 85 - 90. I would highly recommend this product. The air flow on the unit is exceptional and it moves from room to room with ease due to the wheels attached. It does come with 2 drainage holes, one on top and one on the bottom of the unit. Highly suggest using a larger pan to collect the water or run the drain tube (supplied) into a sink or tub. I love that it comes with a remote so you don't even have to get up to lower or raise the temperature setting or turn it on/off.

I just received this two days ago, and it was delivered lying down, so per the instructions I kept it upright until morning (about 12-14 hours). I included photos of the box it came in because I know some people get their packages delivered and its all beat up and squished, so this one came in pretty in tact, which i am grateful for. I read the instructions (not too long) and started setting up the hose, unit itself, etc. After I connected the exhaust hose to the window, I’d say my only gripe would be the window adapter kit is kind of small. It may be just where I live and my specific windows, but I feel like it’s really not that big. But that’s a small thing, so no worries. The main thing is that this AC unit blows out cold air, it’s easy to use, has wheels, and doesn’t use much power. I gave it 4 stars for right now because i just started using it, and I will update this as the weeks go on, but so far, so good!

The unit runs well and cools a room of decent size. However, there are quieter models and I would recommend self evaporating units rather than this one if you don't want to regularly dispose of water coming out of the drain hose. Many other units are reported to have no draining maintenance required, while this one can make you empty a bucket daily or more.

Premièrement la prise n'est pas aux normes européennes, j'ai dû la changer pour utiliser l'appareil et celui-ci à arrêté de fonctionner après 20 secondes. Il ne fonctionne plus et c'est trop compliqué de le renvoyer. C'est la dernière fois que j'achète du matériel venant de Chine.
