At first I was hesitant because of the price but taking care of your health, shouldn’t have a price tag. This was well worth it! The case, the straps, the whole piece is phenomenal. I was diagnosed with muscle disease. My legs are going downhill fast. I purchased this to build my strength. Going to PT is often stressful. The fatigue, fighting for my life feeling just to walk, this machine has brought stability in my home. My goal is to avoid a wheel chair. I am hoping this brings me back to life. I love being able to choose the resistance on good/bad days. It’s mini and doesnt take up too much room. It’s amazing for those whom cannot get out of bed, or need a chair for balance. It doesn’t discriminate. Assembly was so simple and easy. It was worth the cost, it has a QR code for setup a long with a booklet. You are set for success with this! 10/10.

I am a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident physician and I am always looking for creative ways to make rehab accessible and help functionality as much as possible. My mom had open heart surgery recently and needed some home physical therapy while she recovered at home. I was told about the Movao Leg Press from a physical therapist I work with and in my experience (medical and personal), this has been so instrumental in my mom's rehab! The Movao Leg Press is light, but sturdy. Such super high quality! When I opened the case, I was so surprised by the quality and the detail that the designers put into this to make it so super functional for the user. You can use this sitting, laying down, standing up. It is safe to use and has added clips/supportive straps that you can attach to the press to make it even more secured! It does take some getting used to initially, but the instructional booklet is so easy to read, has pictures that make setting up and exercising simple. This is an all-in-one answer for lower limb rehab. You can change resistance levels and the incline which makes it multifunctional, and help you start slow and build up your endurance and strength. It is so convenient to use. Small enough where you can move it around, store it under the bed, and it is not heavy at all. This would be great for people trying to work on sit-to-stand mechanics, wanting light-to-moderate workout, improve endurance and strength. This could be beneficial for people who have already finished physical therapy after hip or knee surgeries, ankle or muscular strains (make sure to clear with your PT first). My mom loved using this and even after her rehab, she still uses this on the daily in the morning as it has helped her stamina and joint pains. It is so good, I got one for myself! I think this is revolutionary and so many people can benefit from this.

I really like it! I do wish there was a way to add more tension instead of only taking away tension but other than that it's great. I definitely recommend this!

After having 4 spinal surgeries in 3 months, I needed a lot of physical therapy. But paying $85 co-pays 3x a week for the next 12 weeks was just not in the budget. The physical therapist recommended this MOVAO system as an alternative. I was skeptical at first, but after using it for the last 10 days, I am incredibly happy to have found it! It’s extremely compact and lightweight but sturdy, comes in a handy carrying case, and the instructions were very easy to understand. I started out using it just for strengthening my legs and it was not only comfortable, but very quiet so I could watch TV, read, or listen to music while using it. I can control the amount of resistance quickly and easily too. I know it says leg press, but after seeing how well it worked for my legs, I tried it for my arms and it worked amazingly for those too. This is truly a great product and absolutely worth every penny! It has not only saved me money in co-pays, but it is so much more convenient to use when it fits into my daily schedule instead of making an appt at the physical therapy office. I cannot recommend the MOVAO enough!

This did not work for me.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Hypothyroidism, Arthritis and I'm 69 years old. Exhaustion, weakness, pain and stiffness are hallmark symptoms for me, making walking very difficult and requiring a wheelchair a lot. Hence, my knees, ankles and calf where suffering. This machine is the BEST money I've spent on something to build strength back and my knees are strong and painless now and the machine is wonderfully compact. I've never had surgery, but my experience for building strength for my illnesses has this machine rated GREAT!!!!!!! Thank You to the doctor inventor. If I do get much stronger, maybe a stronger band for more resistance (adaptable) to my (existing machine) would certainly appreciated.

I’m preparing for an upcoming knee surgery and was told by my PT that I need to start doing prehab. I’m really impressed with this! It is lighter than I expected, the carrying case is super nice and there was no set up. I adjusted the strap for the length I needed, propped up the foot plate and was able to use it immediately! It folds back down and goes right back into the case with ease!! It comes with an extra resistance cord and additional straps in case you want to attach it to a chair! Great quality product!

I purchased this device because I am recovering from leg paralysis and foot drop. This unit is good in theory but did not offer enough resistance for my recovery. Unit arrived slathered in lubricant and I had to wipe it down before use. The instruction manual was not very helpful. There are photos of how to use it, but they were rather vague. Also, not sure if the one I received was broken, but there was a plastic part on the bottom that was broken off. It seemed to be missing a part. There are straps included so the unit can be attached to a massage or workout table. They were just a tad too short to work with my massage table and I am unable to exercise on the floor due to physical limitations. Perhaps it may have berm more stable on the floor rather than on the massage table. I do not believe it would work in bed as they demonstrated on the description on Amazon. It is a good concept, but meant for a patient with virtually NO leg strength. I did not feel much resistance, even when I had it on the hardest setting. They provide additional resistance bands, but no information on how to remove the old ones and put in new ones. My legs are not strong enough to use an actual leg press machine at the rehab, but this unit did not offer enough resistance for me personally. Also, for what it is, I think the price is high. It comes with a nice storage/traveling case. Unfortunately, I am returning it.
