Shreds the paper well and truly to bits
I bought this or one very similar to this some years ago and it did a superb job of shredding my used unwanted paper. So, as my old one finally died on me, I bought it again and it is doing a superb job again. A great product and a very quick first class delivery. Thank you, A great seller. Well recommended,

great little product
It is an excellent product, but when I first tried it, the censor didn't work and I tried the troubleshooting idea, but it still didn't work, then my son used a cotton bud and the censor popped up and it now works great thanks.

Does the Job well
Works well and does what it's supposed to do; cross-shredding letters and other paper or card so that your name/address is unreadable. It will also destroy all types of plastic cards. It collects all the shredded bits and is easy to empty and can be put straight into most recycling bins. Ideal for home use. It seems very sturdy and is so simple to assembleโgreat value, giving me security and peace of mind.

Super Little Shredder.
Super little shredder. Eats through paper and keeps going for a good while. Managed to shred two huge black bags of paper very quickly. Also like the handle, which helps when emptying bin, as this type of shredder has quite a heavy motor that needs lifting off. All in all a very good buy.

There's noting of any use left after using this.
Only four stars as only having just received it, I cannot comment on reliability. But what I can comment on is its effectiveness in the job that it does, there's nothing useful left that any would-be identity-thief could ever use from the remains, to be able to put your personal data at risk. Not unless they have the patience of a saint and an eternity to put things back together. Even so, mainly due to the habit I got into with my old Fellowes shredder that gave up the ghost last week after ten years of service, I still only shred the pages of any document that have my name, address and any other personal and account information on them, and I also don't do them all at the same time - just in case (paranoia). I will always split multi-page documents into two piles of odd and even pages, and will them shred one half one week and other half the next. This carries on week-after-week. Overkill maybe, but effective as there is never a whole document in the recycling bag - ever. The reason is that the old Fellows was a straight-cut straight shredder. Old habits fie hard. It fits in the same space between two cabinets, and holds more than the other one did. It is rather noisy in comparison, when it is turned on it will run for a few seconds, probably to clear the cutters. It's so simple to use there's no need to go into it here. It says it can do six sheets, staples, etc. It can definitely do six sheets, but I don't like the way it slows down and sounds like it is straining to cut them, so I prefer no more than three sheets, and only if I have a lot to shred, otherwise a single sheet at a time is fine. It will certainly eat through a staple with no effort whatsoever. I am hopeful that I now will never have to buy another, and I know my shredded paper details are completely safe. A word on the lubrication. I bought dedicated shredder oil at the same time, turns out, on reading the manual, that there was no need at all. All you will need is vegetable oil, a much cheaper by volume than the dedicated stuff, and like myself, something you already have at home.

Good shredder
I bought this to replace my old shredder which was getting warm and cutting out, it was also around 3 times the price of this machine. Straight from the off this Bonsaii shredder coped very well with a pile of paper which the old machine couldn't handle. Shreds paper into small pieces and doesn't clog up the cutters. Very happy with it.
