how could I seal one end?

There is a half inch soft PVC "cap" you can slide over one end and seal with PVC glue for an easy forever fix.

It is safe for use in ponds and water gardens, but it does not have any sort of potable or food use certifications. Is there an adapter I can buy that mimics the smaller end of this so I can cut it up?
