PowerBear Samsung Galaxy S3 Battery [2100 mAh] Lithium Ion Replacement Battery

After my old OEM battery swelled up, I needed a replacement. As a power source, it performs excellently, holding a charge for days when not in use, and when used, gets you through the day with life to spare before needing to recharge. For the downsides, they're not a deal-breaker, but it is an irritation to the user. For one, this does not have NFC circuitry like Samsung's products, and to my knowledge, no model with NFC by PowerBear exists for the S3. Look somewhere else if your looking for one with NFC. Otherwise, NFC is not necessary for the battery to work on the S3. The only major problem with the battery is that it does not come pre-calibrated. Out of the box, it is stone dead, no charge. The instructions ask you to charge it to full, then deplete it's charge before recharging it to full again, and repeat that cycle 2 more times to calibrate the battery. Improper calibration would mean the battery won't work at it's full potential. Therefore, the burden is typically on the manufacturer to do the calibration themselves so that the user doesn't have to. Overall, the downside of having the user to calibrate the battery is what prevents PowerBear from achieving a perfect score on this otherwise perfect replacement battery whenever your old one has worn out.

It is 5 days since I installed the battery and so far it is holding the charge better than original brand that I bought last time. I calibrated as it was instructed but I did not let it go to totally empty charge which may damage the memory of my phone I recharged it when it was down to 2 or 3% left and as as soon as it was fully charged I disconnected the charger.I hope power Bear start stamping the production date and expiration date on these battery for more customer confidence. In my experience most of the original batteries are bad because it has been sitting for too long after production. The price is reasonable.

Have only had this battery a short time but it seems to work as advertised. The battery fit perfect in my Samsung Galaxy S3 and charged right away. I don't use my phone very often, so time will tell if this battery holds a charge longer. My old Samsung battery was dropping the charge very quickly so I knew it was time for a new one. So far, so good. If you're looking for a new battery I would recommend this one.

My husband and I both have Samsung phones an S 3& S5 which we purchased the power bear battery for to replace our old original batteries. They both charge up rapidly but still continue to have the problem of overheating on bòth Phones;Therefore I am going to contact Amazon or Power Bear to return them on the 24th month warranty. DARN!.

The OEM Samsung battery in my S3 had inflated like a balloon so I bought these PowerBear batteries to replace it. They drop right in and fit without any hassle. Perfect replacement. Battery capacity seems fine at 2100mAh. Great value considering you get two for such a low cost. Can't go wrong. My S3 basically collects dust but it's still nice to have as a paperweight or backup just in case.

Samsung Galaxy S3 would not hold a charge any more. Took a chance at replacing its batterywith the PowerBear battery. So far, so good. Seems to be exactly what was needed. Thebattery was charged to about 58% when first placed in cell phone and fully charged quickly.Am definitely satisfied and recommend purchasing this battery as a perfect substitute for anoriginal Samsung. The price was good also and the seller anxious for positive feedback.

have only had this for 4 days now and you are wanting me to rate it. Well for 4 days it has worked better than my original batter that came with my Samsung 3, 4 years ago. I just wish you could have waited longer for a true test on how it was going to hold up over time like maybe 6 months to a year, but so far it is working very well and holding a longer charge than my other battery.

Item arrived when it stated it would. It was a slight problem putting it in. Other then that no problems so far Battery is working ok.
