The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars)

What a blast from the past, so glad I found these "the essential..." books to pass on REAL Star Wars to the next generation of non-Disney SW fans

Arrived in excellent condition. Had this book in the 90s. The nostalgia is real.

This book was written in 1998, prior to the release of the "prequels" so the information inside will be accurate only to the original 3 movies. There are a number of Essential Guides in the series, planets, droids, weapons and technology, characters, all of the original series were written between 1996 and 2000 and are still worth having if you need great information on the the first three movies Lucas released. They can be found here on Amazon starting at a penny plus shipping, so don't discount them based on their price; they are worth having!!If you are a plastic modeler interested in scratch building Star Wars ships THIS is the first volume I would recommend. And of the cut-a-way books would be second but for external details and general information get this one first.

I grew up with this book and it brings back great memories. Full of awesome info for fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe especially really awesome and also crazy ship designs from the movies and old games and novels and comics.

a very cool reference book that goes into detail about the ships of the star wars movies and books up untill 1996. The sketched drawing are awesome. this was a fine addition to my collection. I recommend also buying " eccential guide to planets and moons" as well as "... droids"

i ordered this due to a love of Star Wars and it met and exceeded all my expectations

This was the last book I needed to complete my collection. I know it's from the old movies but... I don't care XD I'm a bit of a completionist

Purchased as a gift for a "new" Star Wars fan. Other reviews steered me away from an "updated" version, and I was very glad to find this one still available -- in great condition -- from a used book seller. Very comprehensive information, and excellent drawings for the fans who love to create their own images as close to the originals as possible.

*The book Essential Guide is Good - Out of Date now but good* My review is on the Quality of the book, I'm aware that it's second hand but the listing was "Good Condition" It's not almost every page has been drawn on! that's not good condition. Plus I found two porn mag cut outs inside it so clearly no one bothered to check it. It's a good job I have a trusting missus she might have thought they were my grot pages!

Lots more ships and detail provided than the newer version. Too bad it did not have the Gunboat (that's is why I am giving it 4 stars)
