These are pretty well made, sturdy shelves for the price. Do not expect industrial racks like you see in the home centers. These are not rated for nearly as much weight, but are fine for home use. Installation takes time and a little skill, so if you have never picked up a tool before, then call a handyman (or handyperson - please don't #metoo me). It is very helpful to have a studfinder to find the joices from which to hang. Also, the bolts are pretty long and you will be tighten them above your head most likely, so a power driver will make your work infinitely less punishing.The finish on the racks looks nice and seems like it is pretty durable. A couple of the wire racks that lay on the frame are slightly warped and don't lay completely flat which bothered my inner virgo, but it doesn't stick up so much that it affects functionality, and once you load them up, they flatten out nicely.

Sturdy, great quality. Not easy to install but not hard either. Did it alone - would have been much easier with two people. Based on the design there is a height setting you need to skip over where having two vertical posts connected overlap. It’s either one post or two posts with enough room for the base to slide in. Just know there is a “dead spot” between shortest height and the next available setting. I had to install about 2 inches off the perfect height for the space above my garage door.

I was looking for overhead racks for my garage, and based on the size of the area I had and the reviews on Amazon, I selected these. I had them installed by a handyman I know and have been really happy with the way the job turned out. They seem to be sturdy and well constructed and relatively easy to install. One thing to note: the instruction booklet is a "one size fits all" - meaning that the same booklet is used for different sized racks. There is a table in the instruction booklet that shows the measurements for the various sized racks, but the illustrations show the measurements for the 4 foot wide racks only. If you follow the measurements on the pictures rather than the table, you may end up with the wrong measurements and have to redo it. Speaking from experience.

This was the worst experience returning a 4x8 over head rack ever. Keep in mind if the rack does not fit and you have to return the rack you will be paying for the shipping costs. I had to pay $105.58 to return, out of the $150.00 that I paid for the rack. FLEXIMOUNTS are of the same quality, and if you have to return their product you will not have to worry about paying for shipping.

This product seems decent so far but it is not easy to install. Measure your joist before you order any of these products. that being said the instructions are very poor and are only written for one size even though they sell many sizes. This is confusing and unnecessary.

I am happy with the installed storage rack. It precisely serves my intended purpose. I subscribed to the Amazon installation service and the installers were knowledgeable and efficient and adjusted the unit as I requested.

Good quality, easy to install. It did come in 2 different packages that came on 2 different days. Called when we got the package and discovered that it was shipped from 2 different locations.

Put two up by myself. Super quick and easy to install. Look nice also
