Its a beast
Me and my partner live in an attic apartment . It gets to be in the 120s during summer . This AC unit cool the entire apartment including the stairwell of being inside just one of the rooms . We love the rapid cool function which cools down the house in a matter of minutes it's ultra quiet . Is very heavy at 92 lb I think and one last thing is that the plug isn't it doesn't fit a regular standard plug the top two prongs are not up and down they're actually sideways You need a dedicated Outlet for 220 I believe but other than that initial shock once we got it figured out it's fantastic

Error code
So far when it works it works but it's only a few weeks old and I'm getting an error. I've created a case with Midea. If they do not resolve this, I will request a refund and get something else. I will change my review depending on the support.

⚠️‼️Don’t Buy Until You Read This Review⚠️‼️
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this product deserves one because of how misleading the listing and setup experience are. The biggest issue is the power plug. This AC does not come with a standard household plug, yet nowhere on the product page, packaging, or in any obvious location does it clearly warn customers that it requires a different type of outlet. I purchased this expecting a standard plug like most portable air conditioners, only to find out after unboxing that I couldn’t even use it. This is something that should be disclosed prominently before anyone spends their money. On top of that, the instruction manual is poorly written, confusing, and difficult to follow. The setup instructions are vague, the diagrams don’t clearly explain what to do, and it leaves customers guessing. For a product in this price range, there is no excuse for such poor documentation. This resulted in wasted time, frustration, and the inconvenience of having to figure out why the unit wouldn’t plug into a normal outlet. Customers should not have to discover critical information like this only after opening the box. I believe Amazon should require the seller to clearly disclose the outlet requirements in the product title, description, and photos. If they refuse to do so, Amazon should seriously reconsider allowing this listing to remain available because it is misleading to customers. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience. Better transparency and better instructions would have prevented this entire situation.

The best AC’s in the market by this company.
This a great product. It is like split system put in one box. Has two separate fan. Evaporator fan blows cold air in, condenser fan blows air out unlike all other Window AC out there. This makes it quieter. Today in NY city humidity is %77, In my apt it is %44. I also recommend their U shape AC aswell Very very quite.

Im torn
I'm still feeling this out because one big reason I bought this inverter ac is they are supposedly quieter and I dont feel like its quieter and it actually randomly sometimes I think more often when it revs up to meet a larger temp difference is mechanical hum and buzzing sometimes. It does cool large area quick we have open floor plan 1000+ sq ft

Company really missing screws and can't get them to the customers??
Just like another reviewer received the 18,000 BTU Midea air conditioner, and was stoked as it was super hot out. Tried setting it up and it seems like the number 7 screws listed in the manual are not the right size and do not drill into the cabinet properly. This presents a big issue. Tried contacting Midea support on multiple attempts and one time they said they would ship the screws out and just needed my serial number which I didn't have because I was working at the time. Next time I called they said they don't just ship screws out and I asked for a supervisor and they refuse to and said they would get back to me saying there is no supervisor available which could have been true. Additionally I was told I should go to a hardware store and just get the 7/16 screws which I said I've been to three hardware stores and they need more information than that.

Doesn’t really get that cold. For some reason, pretty loud. Not my best choice. Sorry!
