Cools well
Pretty easy to use. Light weight so it's easy to move from room to room. You can use the ice packs/boxes that come with it or use ice cubes to cool off the air more. Better used in a smaller room. If the room gets too big, it doesn't cool as well. But all in all, good little cooler.

Does Not Work At All
My only regret is that I cannot give this product zero stars. The price was right and it looked like it would work great for my tiny bedroom. So tiny in fact, that, I can only fit a single wide bed, a small dresser, and a tray table next to my bed. This thing is a total waste of money! I did all the setup correct. This product actually blew hot air into the room! It made the room even hotter by at least 10 degrees! And now, after only a few days of useage, I am returning it. For a partial refund! What a complete and total waste of time and money. And this is why,,,, you DO NOT BUY ELECTRICAL ANYTHING off of AMAZON. Obviously the seller of this item knows it is a piece of garbage, but, lied in the online description. DO NOT BUY THIS! You will lose money and roast like a egg on a hot sidewalk in the Sierra Desert

Okay, broke within 2-3 months.
It’s nice, small and easy to put in a bedroom and the supplies that came with it are nice. However the reason for the 2 stars is because after about 2-3 months it started leaking internally and I didn’t notice it on my hardwood floors until it was bad enough that there was a giant puddle underneath… it cupped my floors luckily in a small area but still…. I was disappointed, the price seemed reasonable just really upset it broke within 3 months of even having it… the cold air was decent for a portable swamp cooler. It is overall quieter than most fans. But that’s all it is now is just a fan since I can’t fill it with water anymore…. Anyways I wouldn’t buy again if it’s just going to break in 2 months I really needed something to cool my room down and now I need another option.

More of a swamp cooler
It cools down the room really well, but only if there’s enough ice in the tank and water. I like how I don’t have to connect to the window, but I wish it lasted longer.

Great portable swamp cooler.
This portable air conditioner is a game-changer. The 3-in-1 functionality, acting as a swamp cooler and evaporative air cooler, is a clever design, offering flexibility depending on your needs and the environment. The 4 modes and 3 speeds provide ample control over the cooling experience, allowing you to customize it to your preference. The 2-gallon water tank is a great size, ensuring long cooling periods, and the 12-hour timer is a convenient feature for energy-saving. The remote control is a welcome addition, offering easy operation from a distance, and the maximum 20 FT/S airflow is effective in circulating cool air throughout the room. The setup was straightforward, and the unit is relatively easy to move around. It's perfect for small to medium-sized rooms as I have been using it in my office and the evaporative cooling works well in drier climates. Overall, this portable air conditioner is a practical and efficient solution for staying cool. It's a great alternative to traditional air conditioners, particularly for spaces where window installation isn't feasible.

Not quite right
I didn't want one that you have to put water in. I live in Oregon there's no need to add more water to the air. I thought I was purchasing a portable AC. The only instructions is a quick set up. I have a red light and no idea what it means. I will probably return this the description wasn't clear on this item. Tried to upload a picture but it doesn't work. **Update** It runs out of water pretty quickly the ice packs don't stay frozen long enough. I did find the instructions book it was in the water reservoir tucked in where it couldn't be seen. Now it's wet. When you have the ice packs it is pretty cool but it doesn't stay cool. I will be using it in a small bedroom and I'm sure it'll be cool then. I think for the price it was a decent purchase. Unless it breaks I'll be keeping it. And I am pleased it has a remote. The description should have been better written. It is NOT an air conditioner it's a portable swamp cooler.

Water pump broke, A/C no longer works after a few short months.
A/C worked ok, had to put alot of ice in the water tray to be even remotely cold. The water pump stopped working after a few short months. It was used daily but the unit was expensive enough that it should have lasted longer. DO NOT BUY.

Actually replaces my AC (mostly)!
Honestly didn't think this would work as well as it does, but this little unit has kept me from running my expensive central AC most days. It's not going to freeze you out like traditional AC, but it drops the temp enough in my bedroom and office that I'm comfortable. The best part? My electric bill barely moved. I was spending a fortune on AC before, and now I only turn it on during the worst heat waves. This thing uses like 65W compared to my energy-hogging AC unit. Super easy setup - literally just plug and go. The remote and quiet operation are nice bonuses, but the real win is how much money I'm saving on electricity while still staying cool. For apartments or smaller spaces, this is a solid AC alternative that actually works. Just crack a window like they suggest - makes all the difference!
