I have never used a grounding mat. Thought I would give this a try. It is compact, and just the right size to have under my feet sitting at my desk. Have only used it for a couple of days so far. I will update my review after a month or so of use. In the first couple of days it seems like it is working to help with sleep. It was a great price so definitely worth giving it a try.

Yes, I like this mat. From the first time I tried it, I felt a light tingling sensation on my feet, and the next day I noticed the swelling on my leg was down. I truly believe it helps. Would recommend it for sure.

Good idea

It really works! Only a few minutes a day is enough to not get all those annoying electric discharges every time I touched the elevator or the car’s door handle.

It would seem my sleep has almost immediately improved. I should also mention I will be completing my 4th sleep study this month for Apnea and REM disorder. I also use the Oura ring to track my sleep habits. This all being said, this week I have been waking up before my alarm and feeling energized. Lastly I will say this, previous mats I used did nothing and this was before I knew the significance of having a mat that is Carbon or Silver infused. I’m about to buy another one now for my gf place 🌱. Hope this helps someone.

I'm not sure if this works or not. I won't destroy a product for lack of benefit when the issue may well be the building I live in not properly being grounded. All I know for sure is that when plugged into my outlet within the reading are the same as when it isn't. Oddly enough, when inserted into a hole in the ground, it works..it grounds as is intended. Not sure what to do because I had the "Ground" checked in my Apartment and was told everything was fine. I really need the benefit this device promises, not getting it is kind of a HUGE let down.

I still remember the day the package arrived. My daughter—14, battling chronic fatigue that no doctor has fully explained—sat cross-legged on the floor, eyes wide with cautious hope. “Dad, do you think this will finally help me sleep?” she asked. I’m an electrical engineer. I don’t believe in magic, but I believe in electrons. So I promised her we’d test it together, the way we test everything: with facts. That night, I unboxed the Ultimate mat like a kid with a new gadget. We plugged it into a verified grounded outlet (I checked the wiring with my Fluke meter first, old habits). She placed her bare feet on the mat while I clipped one probe to the mat’s metal snap and the other to the ground pin of the plug. Beep? Nothing. No continuity. Zero ohms. I thought maybe the cord was faulty. So I tested just the cord: from snap to ground prong. Still open circuit. Then the mat itself—probe to probe across the surface, corner to corner, wet hands, dry hands, pressure, no pressure. Infinite resistance. For context: a proper grounding mat should have at least some resistance. This one? It’s a fancy rubber yoga mat with a plug that goes nowhere. I explained it to her gently. She nodded, trying to be brave, then quietly folded the mat and slid it under her bed. “It’s okay, Dad. At least we know.” But it’s not okay. This isn’t just a waste of money—it’s a promise broken to someone who’s already had too many. I don’t write reviews often. But if one parent reads this and skips the heartbreak of watching their kid stand on a lie, then it’s worth it.

It definitely works well, and it looks like a well-made mat for the price. Based on some research, I did modify it by not using the cable and connecting it to a direct ground source I was able to run from the outside (sheltered) of our house. For me, interestingly, it has helped me to fall back asleep quickly when I wake up in the middle of the night. It also did the same when I plugged it into the ground receptacle (per the instructions), I just read that direct earth ground is a better source.
