This spotting scope has brought so much joy and sparked a real interest in birding because of the quality and ease of use. I was very surprised at the zoom quality and clarity considering the great price. I love the iphone clip that allows you to capture videos and photographs. It's what transforms observation to interaction. My iphone camera is not the best quality, so any haziness comes from that and not the scope. All birding pictures were taken through the window from inside my home and the day after getting the scope. This scope and accessories are easy to use. I have been posting pictures to social media and my friends have enjoyed them so much that many of them are buying one for themselves. I would say a bigger tripod is necessary, otherwise this is a great purchase!!

The gosky spotting scope is an amazing product and we'll worth the money, sight quality is definitely HD at its best and easy to use, I originally ordered it to use at the range as well is to moon gaze and it delivered better then expected, it came with a table top tripod that is very sturdy and strong and also came with a cell phone mount to place the camera on perfectly, a but confusing to mount and line up but after a minute or 2 i figured it out, definitely use the tripod it comes with if you plan on using the mount system its tough to use on a cheap ground standing tripod like the one I used to take pictures of the moon, and the pictures do not do it justice for the clarity using the naked eye with the scope was just mind blowing, definitely suggest this product!

I've used this at the range multiple times now, I like it a lot. Every aspect of it works very well, even the tripod and phone mount that other reviews complain about suit me perfectly. Gosky have a slightly newer/fancier looking unit of same magnification (see pic). it's inferior to this one in several ways. I compared both side by side. The other unit felt cheap/fragile by comparison. I love the simple effectiveness of the ph mount. The tripod is compact and lightweight. Works fine for benchtop use. Image clarity is fine, for my purposes. I compared it to some vortex units, that were much pricier. They were slightly better, and their stated magnification wasn't exaggerated. That's my only "beef" about Gosky. It's 60x was about the same as the Vortex 48x. But, the compactness of this unit and it's magnification works great for me, in a well lit indoor 200yd range, to see my .223 shots on paper. I am using it with cellphone attached, and I do use the phones 2x zoom to help, but the scopes zoom is actually sufficient by itself.

This is my first spotting scope. Bought is because it's waterproof, has a 20x60 zoom, and comes with a tripod, phone mount and carry case, all for a great price. I've used it for the first time this past weekend and it's great! Lets me see my 100 yard and 200 yard shots easily. It feels like a quality piece too! Not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the attachments. Had no problem attaching the tripod or the phone attachment. There is some fiddling that is needed to get the phone to line up properly but since the attachment is meant for any phone it only makes sense that you need to play around with it. No issues with clarity or focusing. Zoom is easy to use.

If you're just looking for a basic spotting scope for 100m zeroing on the range, bird watching, or even moon watching then this will do it. The accessories are pretty useless however, the stand lacks adjustability and the phone camera adapter does not work very well at all. Mine gets squeezed at an angle or is too loose. Using a LG G7 ThinQ. Not a fan of the objective lens cap either, it's a pain to put on and keep on. Why couldn't they use a slip cover like the eyepiece?

I bought this scope to watch birds and other wildlife. The scope is very sturdy and well made. The zoom works well and the image is very clear. The scope comes with an easy to use cell phone mount for taking pictures using your phone. The carrying case is well made and padded to protect the scope. The tripod mount is nothing fancy, but it is sturdy and holds the scope well. The only downside is the tripod is pretty small - best used on a tabletop. You might want to purchase a full-sized tripod if you were taking this on hikes, etc. Overall, a well made product at a good price.

I purchased this scope for bird watching. It's the first one I have ever used. Turned out to be a great buy. Solidly built, easy to operate, images are crisp and clear. Even the "unsophisticated" smartphone adapter works well -- after you figure out how to use it (for example, seems to need the eyepiece collar to be all the way in to focus correctly.) My only negative concerns the table-top tripod. It does not have independent vertical and horizontal adjustment. That shortcoming is easily overcome by simply moving the tripod when you wish to pan horizontally. Really a minor issue, and the scope itself is A-1. (By the way, I have the 20-60x60)

I wanted to get a multi-use scope. My expectations might have been a bit high, and i haven't yet used the cell phone mount, but let's go ahead and review. Pros - scope is sturdily built and has a nice heft to it. - zooms really well. - tri-pod seems just the right size for a gun range bench. We haven't used it for that purpose yet, though. - Could see Jupiter's moons and Saturn's ring. Can't wait for a clear look at the moon! I'm really looking forward to that. Cons -can't wear glasses. You have to put your eye/face right up to the lens to see. I'm a geek, I wear glasses, so this is disappointing -the tri-pod is my major sore spot. It's too dang short for anything else but range spotting. Trying to look at the stars I have to lay on the ground or the deck. I brought out the card table and still had to get down on my knees which stinks just as bad. The scope appears compatible with standard tri-pod screw mounts, but that purchase will have to wait for another day. - While star gazing or long distance viewing, you really have to tighten up that tri-pod pivot adjustment rod... like to where my wife probably couldn't undo my tightening. If you don't tighten it a bunch it will sag slightly and you lose site of your objective. That seems like it's going to be a fatal design flaw at some point and break down with use. This review might sound a bit on the critical side but it's also a $90 purchase so I did have some expectations. The scope itself is nice enough quality, but I will need to purchase other tri-pods to get satisfactory use out of it.

Alta calidad, perfecto para iniciar como amateur. Sencillo, práctico y muy por encima de los que anuncian.

I didn't have opportunity to really try this scope. I checked it everything seems to work well. Tripod is too small and very flimsy but I didn't purchase this for tripod. So far looks great if I encounter any problems I will update my review. :)

Fato scattata da casa con tanto di vetro della finestra davanti!! L'ho provato anche in poligono sia a 50 mt buono, a 100 mt discreto utilizzando anche zoom cell., a 200 mg con una buona messa a fuoco e lo zoom del cell si ottiene un accettabile risultato. Per il prezzo è più che accettabile.

Bra skärpa för det priset, särskilt vid 20x förstoring, något sämre vid 60x. Mobiltillbehöret ej testat men verkar komplicerat att montera. Mobilen måste dessutom tas ur sitt fodral. Det hade varit bra om man snabbt kunde montera mobilen när man sett något intressant i kikaren men det verkar inte möjligt.
