This is a great set!
We had a lot of fun with this set. Yes, it is a little more flimsy (the arch pegs) but they have been in every set I have ever owned. The mallets are tough and don't have the end caps, which is the reason I chose this one. Yes, they do NOT fit in the bag unless you take them apart, but that isn't a big deal unless you are playing croquet every day. I think it is the PERFECT set for the money.

Decent for Casual Play
Easy to set up. Fun casual game for kids. However, there is sizing issue. It’s a little big for 6 year old and too small for the 10 year old.

This is a wonderful item for the price and is very lightweight for carrying
I was very pleased with what I got for the price. I am sure that you can purchase a much sturdier item for more money, but this was PERFECT for introducing our grandchildren, ages 5 and 8 to the fun of Croquet. It is very light weight and comes with a wonderful carry bag which makes it easy to carry it to the park. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great value
Considering the price, it’s a great value. The mallets aren’t very sturdy once screwed on, and are very light weight, but my family enjoyed playing it this summer. All in all good product for the price, next time I will get one that comes with a rack. It is very handy having a bag to put all the pieces in.

not as sturdy as the LL Bean set I used in the 1980s
This seems to have all the parts and they work okay. But it feels decidedly flimsier than the LL Bean croquet set I used when I was a kid. On the plus side, it has a more modern, sleek look.

Great set!
This was a Christmas present for my 5 and 3 year old boys. They’re the perfect size for my 5 year old to use, but are still a bit big for my 3 year old. My oldest loves playing and they’re tough enough to withstand 2 rough boys. I love that they came with a bag to carry them in. It makes putting them away so easy! Everything fits in the bag perfectly and you don’t even have to take apart the mallets. This was a great find for the whole family!

Very good set, IMHO
This is a surprisingly good set. Definitely NOT junk, everything is well and solidly made, well finished, well painted, etc. Perhaps not "premium" or "professional" quality, but for casual use it's really very good.I can't tell if the balls are solid plastic or what, but they've got good weight to them and seem very solid. There is nothing else plastic, which is very refreshing.One touch I >really< liked was the carrying case, which is (gasp) LARGER than it needs to be. Nearly ALL games pack everything into a skin-tight case that requires you to be a Jedi puzzle master to Jenga all of the pieces in, but not this one. Goes to show they weren't trying to save pennies.Do realize that the mallets have a handle length is made for kids, not adults, and is therefore on the short side (this is clearly indicated in the description / photos). Adults can certainly use them, but they are not full-length - that usually costs more. I'm 5'10" and haven't had any issues. I think they'd be fine for any kid about age 6 and up. Would recommend.

Nice little set
mice little set for some backyard games, good value for money however one of the mallet tops and the handles are mismatched colors and we received 2 green mallets instead of a red one which is not the end of the world but still unfortunate.
