MRbrew Wort Pump for Wort Transfer Stainless Steel Magnetic Beer Pump

I thought my current pump died. Got this as a replacement. Turns out my power strip popped its fuse. It does seem to wanna tip. I would definitely bolt it down to a piece of plywood for support. It comes on when you plug it in so controlling it with a power strip is ideal. Quality wise it's a solid pump.

This is a nice little pump for brewing. It comes with a pair of good quality quick disconnect fittings, spare o-rings and a set of easy twist cable clamps. I use thick silicone tubing (3/4" OD), so unfortunately, the cable clamps are a bit too small for my setup. The pump is quiet and powerful enough for my needs. The only things I don't like are': - It's front heavy and tends to tip over forward. The stand has mounting holes so it could be mounted to a table, but I plan to attach it to a wooden block to keep it more stable. - It isn't self-priming, so you need to ensure that there's a flow of liquid to it. - There's no on/off switch. I have to use it with a power strip with a switch to turn it on or off. There are definitely much nicer brew pumps out there, but they cost a lot more. Overall, I am pleased with the functionality of this pump given its price.
