They fit nicely over the outside faucets. Purchased them before last two ice storms. Our lines didn’t freeze. Our neighbor says it’s not necessary because of the way lines are installed in newer homes but the day and nighttime temperatures here have been in the teens for 3 weeks now. The cover comes with a Velcro tie that helps secure it to be able to pull/tie it tightly. Very easy to install. I was able to go out and install them here because my husband has Parkinson’s and has mobility problems.

I bought it before the winter of 2025 and glad to say that it did a good job protecting the outdoor faucet when I uncovered it for 2026 spring. My faucet was clean with no signs of trapped moisture. The cover was still in the same secured spot with no wear and tear. It lasted through the first winter and it is still in good condition for me to use again for the 2026 winter. It is very simple to use and the velcro does secure the opening tightly. Since I only needed one cover, I gave the other to a friend who found it very useful to keep the outdoor faucet free from the harsh winter elements.
