again another first for me. Made seafood stew, can't spell the other word, the recipe called for saffron and honestly i did not see how such a small amount could make a difference; believe me it does. the scent coming off that broth and that hint of something different in the taste makes me wish i had splurged a little sooner. Oh and the hue it adds to the broth along with the smell is somewhat intoxicating.

Arrived today well packaged. I prefer the storage container of the Costco saffron which i typically buy but it has not been in stock recently. Wonderful fragrance. Best by date 2029! I love these long strands that are not brittle. They almost need to be torn rather than crushed. I Want to make more paella and golden milk but currently adding saffron to my morning matcha latte for brain boost and anti oxidents. There were some yellow stigmas (?) as seen in the photos....the two gram can size is shown

This is the stuff. Definitely adds the flavor and taste that has been missing in other saffron I have used. Much better prices than buying any place local.

Very aromatic spanish saffron. Haven't tried on a paella yet.

Real deal......I have a friend who goes to Spain frequently...he always brings me back saffron....for the last 20 years....when I run out this is what I use. .......so I know the real deal.....not that Afghani crap thats grown in camel dung.....that it is 'Amazon's Choice'.....puzzles me....you don't have to a cowboy to know when you stepped in camel dung....

it's saffron and it's ok but not very good quality.
