So easy to install. Function as designed. A great value for the ease of installation and closure performance. I installed on a delivery box lid to ease the lifting of the access door and to prevent the top door from closing while stowing or retrieving items from the box. Appropriate pressure to lift top access door with ease and closes easily.

Used to replace the struts on a tool box pop up lid. I believe they put the 22lbs out when new but as this box is used frequently the shocks are putting out significantly less force to open the lid. Id guess about half force a year later.

The product itself is great but the instructions aren't clear. No problem for me because i've done this before, but for a newb that could cause problems.

Perfect fit for 2010ish leer cap. To soon to talk about durability but seem solidly built and plenty strong to hold rear hatch open
