There are two grill mats included in this product. You can actually see them rolled up in plastic in the picture. I received this as a gift and can confirm that grill mats come with this set.

Yes, it is. I got it for my dad on Father's day. He loved it and never had a problem with this item. There may be bad reviews about the item because they may be jealous or use the things wrong. Not a single piece broke off, but it is very durable. I promise that you will love this item! :) it does a great job on the grill.
