My mom had a stroke which has left her right side paralyzed. She is in a rehab nursing home and she was complaining about the shower and potty chairs they were using for her. She is 5’, 175 lbs and the chairs they have are for much larger people. She wasn’t able to sit up correctly and her feet were dangling. It was causing her more undue comfort and pain. So I got this chair because 1. Reasonable price. 2. Wheel size for rolling 3. Foot rest 4. of course being dual shower/potty chair and 5. It fits over a toilet. It works perfect for her and the CNA’s love it. She says it’s like sitting in a chair, the cushioned seat is comfortable and it rolls nicely. I am very glad it works so well for her. when she comes home I’ll be her caregiver so it will be a huge help for me too. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. I am grateful it was affordable as we are both on a budget.

My father had a stroke that left his right side paralyzed. We couldn't fit the wheel chair or Sara stedy through the bathroom door. This has helped out so much. It fits through the door, into the shower and over the toilet. The instructions might as well just said here's what the pieces look like figure it out yourself. Horrible instructions. But once u get all the washers in the correct spot it all tightens up well and is very sturdy. I seen a lot of reviews that said it wasn't sturdy. But if you put two washers with each screw it makes it all fit together nice and snug and it wont be flimsy. It comes with a L tool and a weird wrench which makes it difficult to hold the bolt in place and turn the screw at the same time. This also makes it hard to get it tight. But with enough patience and strength ours turned out very sturdy. My dad is 247lbs and it works great for him.

I love that. I’m mobile with the toilet now for my mom, but the wheels kind of lock up without me locking them.

Bought for my sister and it was the most useful thing of the hundreds of things I purchased for her over the years. As a shower chair it was so easy to use and gave her the support she needed while I bathed her. It has many advantages. I highly recommend.

The item is not safe as it will tip backwards. If the person is able to sit by themselves or from a standing position it is ok but can still tip backwards if not careful. It is NOT for someone you need to use a hoyer to lift into the chair. In addition the foot pedals are so small that the feet will slip off and if you are moving/ rolling chair the person’s foot can get hurt. This was bought for a 130 lb adult and now just sits in the garage as I don’t want to even donate it. I missed return window as I bought for when he came home from rehab so now I’m stuck with an unsafe item. DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PUT YOUR LOVED ONE AT RISK.
