D&D Miniatures with DND Mimic Miniature, Monster Set and Chimera Boss, 28mm

I'm always on the lookout for sets of minis that expand rather than duplicate my collection, and this certainly qualifies. The minis are good quality, and not fragile like many 3D-printed figures. If you're looking for a gift for a Dungeon Master, this is a great pick, especially if they enjoy painting miniatures. These minis (for the most part) are unsual enough to be intriguing but not so rare as to be hard to incorporate into a game.

Fans of Greek mythology will be delighted to see the phenomenal chimera miniature that comes in this epic set of miniatures. Size is ideal for D&D adventure sessions (28mm.) This kind of value for money spent is rarely seen in the ttrpg hobby. Astonish your players with the before-and-after mimic miniatures. You also get a half-orc/half-minotaur with one of the best-looking swords ever seen on a miniature. Color is already grey for all of these miniatures, so be ready to shake up your rattlecan of grey primer and blast each miniature with a nice primer coat before doing any painting. Versatility is a major plus, because these delightful miniatures can easily be used with any number of ttrpg systems. Durability is top notch. PVC plastic miniatures never looked this good before. Up with Underdusk!

Sturdy, detailed, interesting sculpts. I highly recommend these minis for anyone who doesn’t mind unpainted minis. None were bent or broken which can’t be said for many of the prepainted Icons of the Realms minis on the market the past couple of years. Again, highly recommended for dnd, especially home brewed campaigns that allow you to put your own descriptive spin on classic creatures. These minis are a great value based on their durability, design, and amount received.

I got this set for the mimics and they do not disappoint. You can run a game wherein just about everything is a mimic and you'll have something to represent quite a few of the nasty critters in surprising ways. Prepare to laugh maniacally as the barbarian opens the door only for the door to become a mimic. The rogue to examine the grave and it becomes a mimic. The book on the floor? Mimic. It's not all just mimics though. There are a variety of niche and weird monsters here to suit your mansion / weird dungeon / otherworldly scenario. Sizes are fairly small, more 25mm than 28mm to me, and non-heroic (so normal sized hands, head and feet). Should be fine with 28mm assets anyway. Detail in sculpts will get better as we get more releases. They range from a 6 to an 8 out of 10 for me, with most of the sculpts on the higher side. All in all a very fun collection of monsters, NPCs and bosses!

I am a high school teacher, and sponsors an afterschool tabletop games club, where students who cannot go home immediately after school for multitudes of different reasons, come by and spend 2 extra hours in my classroom to play games and dnd. I purchased these mini's for my afterschool club, and they are amazing in quality, they are very sturdy, and just the right size for my Chessex dnd map. I own all of the current Underdusk Encounter sets, and are definitely worth purchasing. I also own some of the other dnd mini's like Wildspire mini's and the quality is the same if not better. I even own some Heroforge official dnd mini's that were like $40 just for a single mini, and here is a box of 34 mini's for half the price and of similar quality. There is also a QR code you can scan, included in every box that sends you to a page where you can print off each monster or character stat sheet for the campaign. Customer support is also amazing. One of my Mini's arrived with an arm snapped off and I had a replacement box within 2 days. Ethan is a really cool guy who responds consistently to my inquiries, takes pride in his work, plays dnd and understands what we players like.

This is the second box I have gotten from Underdusk Miniatures, and I will be sure to get whatever they come out with after this! My Chaotic Encounters box was perfect to start building up my collection of miniatures to play D&d, whereas the Monsters and Mimics box is something I can get excited about as a DM! I cannot wait to have a player see a book on a table, only to replace it with the mimic version of the same book! There are multiple items that have a mimic duplicate, a couple of objects to bring your playmat to life (like a coffin and dragon skull), and multiple demons, ghouls, and monsters! They even include a promise of quality (with an email to contact them if something is broken or missing) and a QR code with stat blocks for everything in the box! If you’re looking for a gift for any dungeon master, this is a great place to start!

We received this as a birthday gift for my son who loves D&D and painting miniatures, but one of the characters had a broken piece. We reached out to Underdusk and they went above and beyond in helping us out and making it right. They were also incredibly friendly to communicate with. Definitely will be buying more in the future for my son. You all have such fun molds for your characters and stuff. Sizes are good, quantity is good. Seems like a pretty good value for our money. My son's favorite might be the Axolotl knight, it's super unique and fun. Thank you so much for a great product!

I cannot say enough about this set of figs. I am gearing up for a campaign set in Barovia and you know who and his minions are going to be well represented by the figs in this box! The chimera is going to be a big hit at my table... The mix of bad guys are varied and exciting. I LOVE the mimics, I will have fun revealing the snarling this or that rather than just a chest. The miniatures are all durable and bendy. They are perfectly matched in scale to other minis on the table. The box is a great repository for your denizens while you travel, making this a very nice value, but if you wish to paint them up they will fit into most miniature transporting devices.

I'm realy like those mimic.

Great miniatures, good quality but the box was filled with bugs and cobwebs will not purchase again.
