how heat-tolerant is this plant? We live in Texas

'Natchez' is a product from the University of Arkansas small fruit program and has been grown and tested extensively in the deep south. As with all fruits, you will need to make sure the plant has adequate irrigation (e.g. water) during the hot summer months.

Will these be ok in partial shade?

I really don't think it matters...I'm not real pleased with them at all! Full sun or partial..They are not producing at all...

How do they in the northeast....like New York?

That depends on 'where' in NY. Best way to determine is to lookup your location in the "USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map". If you are in a zone of 5 of lower, you will have limited success with blackberry plants. Raspberry plants are generally more cold tolerant than blackberries if you need an alternative.

R they late bearing fruit?

I just planted them last fall, so not sure. Hopefully they will grow and bear fruit this year.
