I ordered 3 and received 6 cuttings. Wow! A great value and worth the low price. The package included very clear instructions on how to plant and even how to make Comfrey tea for a fertilizer. All cuttings came up and they are a beautiful plant. This is a very high quality plant and so easy to grow!

I bought 3 comfrey cuttings from this seller about a year ago, and they generously sent me 6 instead. Out of the 6, three took off and are now absolutely huge, thriving plants. They’ve grown vigorously, stayed healthy, and even flowered beautifully. I’m very happy with the quality of the cuttings and would definitely buy from this seller again!

I ordered 6 root cuttings, and the seller sent 9. I've seen other buyers say he sent them extra too, and he included a note saying the extras were deliberate (not a mistake). He sent great planting instructions as well. I planted my root cuttings in the ground within a couple days of receiving them. 7 plants sprouted. So I got 7 plants for the price of 6. I am confident that if I had planted my cuttings in pots, all 9 would have sprouted. The garden where I planted them had a lot of weed competition among other factors working against the comfrey, which could have been motivated by starting the plants in pots and transplanting them to the garden after they sprouted. Still, the product is great, the seller offers great instructions and great customer service, I got more than I paid for. I give this seller the highest possible ranking and would definitely recommend and buy from him again myself.

I garden but had never grown comfrey or ordered online like this. Our local garden centers told me they haven’t been able to source it, so I thought I’d give it a try. When I got the pictured root cuttings, I was skeptical it would work. But I followed the great directions and am thrilled that 7 of 8 cuttings are flourishing! It took a long time but once they sprout they really take off. Thank you for offering this to those of us unable to find it locally!

THIS is the ONLY comfrey to buy. You can spread it as you wish with root cuttings, but it will NOT become invasive. You will receive pieces of root ready and willing to grow for you. If you have any problem with your order, Charlie will treat you like family and help solve it. I planted a comfrey at the base of my fruit trees. The strong comfrey roots will help anchor the trees in wind storms. I'll lay comfrey leaves down and build a nutrient dense mulch. I have a comfrey next to each asparagus patch and in the corner of each garden bed. I'll keep a batch of comfrey tea ready for free high quality fertilizer. I'm working towards regenerative gardening where I don't have to pay for inputs like mulch and fertilizer. This comfrey is the best buy in my garden!

Ordered 5 cuttings, received 8. Small but mighty. Potted them up until their bed was prepared. So far I have 6 growing nicely in the garden and #7 started poking up in his pot. Giving #8 a couple more weeks before I give up. The plants are vigorous and healthy. Recommended.

Purchased this in September of 25, it’s now late July of 26 and the comfrey is growing fantastic. I was sent way more than I ordered and even received a hand written note from the seller. That meant a lot because in today’s age, you just don’t see that attention. I bought this for my chickens and for creating a large biomass for composting. I’ve already picked each plant clean several times and it comes back very quickly. The chickens go crazy over this stuff and it breaks down and heats up very quickly in the compost pile. Great item, great seller! Very happy.

I live in rural Arkansas and right now it is very hot here. So I opted to put these root cuttings in small pots that are mixed with native topsoil and some compost and keep them in the shade under a tree until fall. I planted them horizontally and about 3 to 4 in down in each pot as instructed with the supplied paperwork that came with these. That paperwork also says it may take up to 60 days to see growth. I received these July 23rd it is now August 1st. I have visible growth on five out of seven pots that I have. The person who sells these provides you with their email address should you have any questions. They immediately responded to mine. I highly recommend this product for all the aforementioned reasons. Keep yours watered until established. Not saturated, but damp in will draining soil. Have a good day folks!
