PopSockets Phone Grip for MagSafe, Magnetic Holder- Soft Touch Fatigue

About a year after purchase, part of it broke. Sent my order number and a picture of the issue to popsocket support and they quickly gave me a code to order a replacement from their site at no cost. Which at that time even included a promotion that added a random extra top piece. That kind of service is what the high upfront price gets you.

I love this Magnet iPhone grip! It fits perfectly on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and sticks securely. The adhesive is strong, so I don't worry about it coming off, even when I'm using it a lot throughout the day. The design is exactly as shown in the picture the red topographic pattern looks really sharp and adds a nice pop of style to my orange phone. It's functional, comfortable to hold, and works great as a stand for watching videos. Highly recommend!

Okay, so orange-y speckle isn’t exactly a color I would normally gravitate towards if I had my number one choice, however when I purchased this I really just wanted to try the brand out. I got a new phone upgrade, snagged a clear MagSafe case while I was waiting on a Loopy to come in-I’ve been a Loopy fan for years, but thought I’d give a pop socket a try. It’s GOOD!! I used this on my clear case for a while and then tucked it away. I recently purchased a cutie Christmas case that was MagSafe and it felt so naked w/o a holder. I remembered I had this pop socket, so I slapped her on there-they work for Burga cases BTW. Does speckle “clay” orange go with my burgundy red Christmas Cat case? Idk. But, it keeps me from dropping it. So I don’t care. To be honest, it’s really a pretty shade of orange, it’s definitely more of a terracotta -not a bright Fanta shade. The speckles look lavender also. It’s easy to get on and off-the magnet is quite strong, but not so strong that you have to pry it off if that makes sense? You feel safe knowing it’s not going to slide off your phone. It folds down flat enough to slide in your pocket or purse nicely as well as use on your phone mount. Seems like the quality is great also. I’d love to get one for my Kindle next. Adding pics so you can see the colors in bathroom lighting and one in outside lighting. Don’t judge my Christmas Case combo, if you do you’re getting coal from Santa. ;)

I really liked this phone grip, as it folds to a much lower profile than many others. The magnets are quite strong and I have never had it detach from my phone accidentally. The feel is nice and it is completely to hold. Easy to attatch and a little harder to remove. It also looks good and the color choices let me find one that also looks great on my phone case. My one issue is that I dropped my phone from a height of about 2.5 feet and a plastic piece inside broke and now rattles around every time I pickup my phone. I’m not sure how long it will last now. Overall, it’s a great phone grip and will last much longer if you don’t happen to drop your phone.

This review is for anyone who hasn’t tried a pop socket before. (If you love pop sockets already, this one is extremely cute and the magnet is insanely strong.) This was my first try of a pop socket and I’m shocked by how cheap and unsecure it felt. On day one I hit myself in the face, while lying down on my back. You have to actively grip at all times or it will slip through your fingers. I have small stocky hands and it feels like this product was built for someone with thinner or longer fingers. It also sticks out quite far, but also isn’t tall enough to use as a phone stand. You can use it horizontally on a hard surface, but on a bed it just rolls on its back like a turtle. Cheers to anyone who loves pop sockets but as someone who is used to the uncool but very secure feeling Lovehandle, this does not cut it at all.

goated pop socket. great quality i use it to fidget when im on my phone and it’s held up great. im a cook so im usually around grease and that hasn’t affected the quality at all. super strong magnets

The magnet is very strong and has a very solid connection to my case, Ive never been close to having it come off on its own, it can take a bit if effort to remove when you want to (which is a good thing). I enjoy how easily its expanded and can be used, as well as how flat it is when not in use. I had an issue with mine and contacted customer support via Pop Socket directly and they were extremely helpful and accommodating as well as quick to respond. They’re pricey but also a quality product that will last.

I got the magsafe Popsocket in Nightshade. Firstly, the functionality - it’s fine. I use it on my iPhone 15 Pro with magsafe. It works as it should, though the popsocket, due to the magsafe location and camera, sits lower than I would like, making it not as comfortable or functional as I had hoped. It leaves the balance a little off and it cannot work as a stand in portrait though it’s fine in landscape. Secondly, the finish of Nightshade. 0 stars for this. It’s terrible. After maybe a week or two of having it the finish had already started to scratch and wear off. I am not terribly rough on my phones, so this is disappointing. It was also far more reflective than I thought it would be. The images make it look almost matte or like a satin finish, but it is high gloss plastic so the second you look at it, it scratches (also I’ve noticed that if you are say a passenger in the car and sunlight or some other light hits it, if you’re not careful you can blind other people with the reflection off the popsocket). My mom got a magsafe popsocket for her phone in a different style and it still looks like it is brand new. So, definitely skip on this color/finish - ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH $30!!!! For the functionality on an iPhone 15/16 Pro/Pro Max - it will sit in the middle of the phone due to the magsafe and camera, so if you need it sitting higher for comfort of holding, I wouldn’t recommend this. If you have say another type of phone (like an Android) where you can use the provided magnetic sticky ring, then you may be able to place it where you need. Also, the ring for the magsafe is quite large, so in some instances a normal popsocket using the provided 3m sticky may be better.

If you’re a fan of pop sockets this is what it is. Matte khaki, no swivel, mag safe (comes with sticker for device also). If you’ve not tried pop sockets my only advice is to be mindful that they’re not as long as they could be for my liking.

Love it, it's a great snap on magnet, super strong. The pop part is awesome, I had a different one previously that would come apart and drop out of my hand. It's super cute too.
