These PurePlus water filters do an excellent job for filtering our Well water, particularly taking the Iron out as well as other sediments. This purifies not only our Tap (drinking) water but also keeps our clothes brighter, even whites and lighter pastel colors. I imagine every Well is different to a large extent on actual sediment / iron content. I've learned our water needs filtered and these filters need replaced more than just annually. We replace our Whole House water filter 2 to 3 times annually. This PurePlus Filter is an excellent value for the price. I replace this filter myself now, including the Main Housing O-Ring.

Great filter for the price.
These work very well in my 2-filter setup. These are the final filter before entering the home and have greatly improved the well water quality. The water pressure was not reduced and the material seems very durable. I will buy these again.

Water has less debris. Unit housing fit perfect, and heavy duty material seems to be the same as OEM product. And size and micron are the same as OEM recommended.

great whole house filters
Good whole house filters. I have used these for years and they work great. They take our bad tasting water and clean up the rust and chlorine taste. They use activated charcoal and remove all the dirt and bad taste from our water. I change them about every 6 months

Nice filters for the house.
I've been buying these for years and they perform well. With a well system, our water can have significant sediments. These filters last for a few months without showing signs of flow decreasing.
