RGBW 3 HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync Box (4K 120Hz, HDR, for 70"–95" TVs)
I recently added this RGBW 3 HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync Box to my setup and it’s honestly a really fun upgrade for a big TV. The lighting syncs with whatever is on the screen and makes movies and games feel way more immersive. Colors spill out around the edges of the TV and it really adds to the atmosphere, especially during action scenes or colorful games. Setup was pretty straightforward. The LED strip goes on the back of the TV and the sync box connects between your devices and the TV. I like that it has three HDMI ports, so I can keep my console, streaming device, and another input connected without constantly switching cables. Another big plus is that it supports 4K at 120Hz with HDR, which is great for gaming. Everything still looks smooth and high quality while the lights react in real time. Overall, it’s a really cool addition if you want to make your TV setup feel a little more like a home theater or gaming room. Easy to install, works well, and the lighting effects look great on a large TV. Definitely a fun upgrade.

Fancyleds for life!
I’ve bought the first gen and now I’ve upgraded to these because I bought a new tv. They work the same if not better. Since these are RGBW the color on the leds are more accurate and somehow pop more. It’s on the expensive side but very worth it works great with ps5 and Apple TV, switching media is easy with app. The app works amazing too very easy to setup.

Comparison Fancyleds, Govee, Hue
If you don’t mind having to use an app on your phone everytime you need to switch between devices, then this is an excellent choice! CEC / AUTO SWITCHING HDMI Highly annoying as the device claims to be CEC compatible, they just don’t have it implemented correctly. There are certain things you have to manually program with CEC to make it user friendly; their programmers clearly don’t know about this. If you follow CEC strictly, it kinda sucks for actual usage. For example, most people don’t turn off their apple tv (which with CEC would turn off your tv as well) before turning on the game console. Well strict CEC implementation won’t switch to the game console because the previous input is still sending signal. They need to program it so that regardless of previous input, when it detects a NEW input signal, it switches to that hdmi. Now many hdmi switches will also send a CEC off signal to the previous device, to help with switching back to that device. That part is optional, as it can be annoying for gamers when they accidentally click their apple tv remote while gaming and the console shuts down. Govee also fails to implement CEC, and even worse than Fancyleds. The only brand to make CEC right is Hue Sync Box. GOVEE Overall quality is worse than fancyleds, AND may be more expensive. Worse CEC, worse LED density, worse light reproduction… but maybe better app controls. HUE Best quality in CEC and light reproduction in their new 8k model; but awful pricing and the fact that you have to buy the LED backlight separately, AND power it separately is annoying. I like just plugging the light strip into the sync box like the other two brands. I hate how bulky hue gradient strip is, and also the power plug for the strip AND sync box both just annoy me. I do like a clean install and Hue fails this metric. SUMMARY If fancyleds would improve their CEC programming beyond just basic specification, they would absolutely dominate the market of hdmi based backlighting. I’ve written them about it, but to date i get idiot replies about how they support cec and i should reboot my devices (facepalm). If their devs read my comments they’ll realize what I mean, it’s a stupid simple adjustment to their firmware!

Works like a charm
Works beautifully and made my setup just THAT much better. It responds quickly and I’m able to get LEDs whether I’m watching TV, playing PS5, or Switch 2!!

Best LED I’ve seen
Such a better product than the Govee. Bought TWO defective Govees, then tried this and it was easier to install, looks better and has made me very satisfied. 10/10 looks great

Not worth the price.
Lighting is only good at night time and you get use to the led within a month or so. The hdmi port pretty stupid and won't auto switch port like it supposed to. I usually have my pc on first and sometimes me or someone else would accidentally bump the ps5 controller and turn on the console. It force the hdmi port switch to the Ps5 console and stay on that port only. The app or physical device can't switch back to the PC. Turning off the ps5 doesn't do anything too. Only fix is to turn both pc and ps5 off then turn on the PC again. It only saving grace is that the rgbw react ok with any games. And yet it still mess that up.I use a red square on my desktop to test the rgbw tracing and fine out that the rgbw can only track colors to the correct corner only. When I move the red square to the bottom of my screen. The rgbw glow red on the right side of the TV. Up goes left, right goes down and left goes up. Honestly I could have run everything to my pc and have the PC controller the rgbw and it would of done a better. I can see this going for $200-$300 for a 4 port hdmi. But $500 and it doesn't work as advertised is just a scam.

DO NOT BUY! Very limited list of supported devices.
DO NOT BUY! I installed the 3 HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync box on my 65 inch LG television. I connected HDMI 1 input to my Dish Hopper and could not get the LEDs to turn on to sync with the signal. I contacted Fancy LEDs customer service and was informed that the Dish Hopper is not supported. Fancy LEDs website in fact has a very limited compatibility list of devices that are supported by the sync box. I rechecked the Amazon web site and there is no mention of any compatibility device list or any compatibility warnings anywhere. Here is the compatibility message from Fancy LEDs website: The 3 HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync Box supports up to 4K 144Hz and 8K 60Hz with HDR / Dolby Vision on a 16:9 screen. DRM content can be watched & played, with HDCP 2.3 compliance. A HDMI device is required for the LED syncing. Windows PC compatibility may vary by user and is not recommended. Compatible with Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant. If your device is not listed among the compatible HDMI devices below, please contact support. Connect up to 3 compatible devices: • PS5 / PS4 / PS4 Pro • Xbox Series X & S / Xbox One X & S • Nintendo Switch • Apple TV (All generations) • Amazon Fire Stick 4K / Fire TV Stick Lite • Google Chromecast 4K • Roku Stick / 4K Stick • NVIDIA Shield TV / Pro • Xiaomi TV Stick 4K

Beautiful Cinema Center!
It is my favourite sync box! I just loved it!!! It changed my living room completely. The installation really simple setup was easy. As this Sync box you must connect your device with HDMI. I see sync option is not working built in TV as normal. The product led quality amazing! I hope it will be durable years! It is a bit expensive but it worths every penny!

Disappointed
THE colour accuracy is not good. The sync box doesn't mimic the tv images as described. I am really disappointed. I want to return the product, but I don't know if this would be possible because the strip is not in its original length.

Only runs on the app.
This item has worked pretty well so far. A few quirks to get used to. Plugging in a new source immediately changes what you're watching so best to have all sources in before starting. Box may turn on without the app (and you will need the app to run it). Would have been nice to have a remote but you can manually change outlet with hardware. Definitely does boost viewing pleasure.
