Good price.
Ram is very expensive right now. I searched for the best prices and Amazon prices were the cheapest I found. Crucial themselves are selling a 48gb kit for around 250 260 pounds.. So 180 is pretty good. It was simple to install into my GMKtec K6. The system was buggy I think because it was optimised for 16gb but not sure as I'm not a tech guy. After a few hours it optimised itself I guess. So yeah the ram sticks are in good condition. They don't come in secure packaging no idea why but no problem they work as advertised. Multitasking works now and can open a lot of apps if needed. Games run a lot smoother now too no more stuttering in Beamng Drive, Ready Or Not etc. So yeah excellent stuff!

Excellent RAM for laptop upgrade
The Crucial by Micron 16GB DDR5 5600MHz, non-ECC, PC5, CL46 262 Pin SODIMM fits in a 5550 W11P laptop, originally bought with a single 16GB SODIMM of the same specification. Fitting was easy, by simply following the instructions in the laptop manufacturer’s manual. Two single SODIMMs are now working together without the requirement for dual rank. It allows the machine to happily run 32GB of RAM at full speed without errors. An ‘Advanced’ RAM test by the BIOS took ages, but showed no faults, and throughout this the RAM temperatures stayed well within the usual limits. As with all ESD sensitive components, take care not to touch the contacts on the card and make sure oneself is earthed to the metalwork of the unplugged equipment, and with a laptop also always disconnect the battery and ‘flea power’ before doing any work inside.

Exceptional Value via Amazon Resale
I managed to buy this Crucial DDR5 16GB 5600MHz RAM from Amazon Resale for just £50, which is incredible given the current price is close to £200 retail. Even though it was a Resale item, installed without a hitch, and is working perfectly. I’m so grateful to Amazon for such a great bargain. Very happy with the ram and the price I paid.

Does the job
Got this for £40, just before the ram prices shot up. Does the job and support slower spéeds which is what I needed.

Works great with my mini-pc.
Glad I bought this when I did, the price was more expensive when I bought this kit, but has increased even more due to the RAM shortages.

Worked with my green dxp4800 plus bringing it to 20GB
Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cost, bought it to add to my ugreen nas increasing the memory to 20GB and it worked perfectly

Crucial DDR5 RAM 128GB Kit review.
I bought these back in July 2025, before the pricing apocalypse at £290. Comparatively extraordinary value for money. My machine came with 32GB and as I was planning to run some large simulations at the time I knew that this could be a bottleneck, so an upgrade was necessary. With no XMP available in the BIOS, using RAM with standard JEDEC timings was fine for me. After 7 months or so I had a problem, a system crash which initially looked like a motherboard or graphics card failure, but after some tinkering (replacing original components back into the system) my machine came back to life. Further investigating showed that one of the RAM modules had failed. I contacted the Crucial Customer Service, who set up an RMA. They replaced it without any quibbling at all. In fact, their customer service is absolutely exemplary. A further note on this. 128GB isn't officially supported by the manufacturer of my laptop, but I know is supportable by both the CPU and the motherboard. In fact, I've written this review using that same system, with this RAM installed. I've never had a RAM failure before so this would have been given 4 stars, but their customer service being the way that it is is why I've given it 5.
