Great product
I am so happy I found this product. I am 37 years old and extremely active. I work full time, and have a 3 year old and a 1 year old to keep up with. I had an accident last year resulting in a lower back herniated disc, and 2 back surgeries last summer. I woke up from the second back surgery with severe foot drop. I am doing so much better overall, but the foot drop has been improving incredibly slowly. I hated the clunky, uncomfortable, and expensive AFO I got at the hospital from day one. I ordered the Saebo Step (also expensive) a few months ago and it was working well, but I was frustrated because it only works with a limited number of shoes (you need to put special screws in your shoes, which are not easy to rotate to other shoes, and are expensive to keep ordering). So on a whim I decided to order this brace, feeling like there was a small chance this inexpensive brace would work well. I am so happy to report that it is working great for me. I can wear it under my jeans, it is soft and comfortable on my ankle (more comfortable than my other braces), and most importantly, it lifts my foot enough that I can walk on any terrain, for miles. I just took a trip and logged 16,000 steps on my Fitbit in one day, wearing this brace all day. I've read all the reviews for this brace, and it looks like it doesn't work for some people. I think if you're curious if this would work for you, give it a try, because you may be like me and it will work perfectly. I also should say that I've found a double loop works best for me (you can kind of see in the picture). To everyone dealing with foot drop, I feel your pain, because this ailment is super annoying. I hope this product works as well for you as it does for me.

It does work for foot-drop for me
I have moderate foot-drop on my left foot resulting from a herniated disk in my back damaging the nerves that I use to lift my foot, lift my toes. I can curl down my foot and toes but I cannot lift them. This means when walking my left foot can drag, and I can stumble and fall further injuring my back. I've tried a variety of expensive medically-provided braces as well as a couple other types from amazon. This one keeps my toes in the proper configuration when walking such that they do not drag and I do not stumble - I even tried dragging my toes and it was difficult to accomplish when wearing the brace. It is simple, light weight, and works to prevent foot-drop. Normally my foot drops down, and also to the left, with the brace on I can walk normally, and I don't have to lift my foot higher than normal to avoid obstructions when wearing the brace, I can just walk as normal. I do feel like it will cause sweating where it touches the skin, which is reasonable considering the benefit. I have only tried it using one shoe with laces, I have not tried it with other shoes, I figure it will take some minor adjusting for each shoe type since I use regular tennis shoes sometimes, trail runners other times. It will not work with a hiking boot probably as there is no room for the ankle portion of the brace, but low-rise hiking shoes should be fine too. I can't wait to get back to the trails now that I feel safer and less likely to stumble and fall.

Great product but needs to be beefier
I have a progressive tibial muscle condition that has resulted in foot drop of both feet. I had difficulty with walking more than a short distance without tripping or losing balance. I had tried quite a few AFO devices which helped somewhat, but I could not wear them for more than an hour or so due to the pain associated with additional material within my shoes. When I discovered the Tenbon ankle support Orthosis, I immediately ordered a pair just to see if it would provide the help I needed without the associated pain of the other products. When I first tried them, I was highly impressed with experience of being able to walk for extended periods without the fear of tripping and as importantly without pain. Their product captures all the features that I would have suggested to solve the foot drop issue. Since purchasing them, I have counted on them constantly and put them on as a normal part of putting on my shoes. The only deficiency I have encountered over the my three month usage is that they need to be strengthed to increase their durability. One of the vertical straps had its buckle broken by stress on the small latch pin. After replacing the strap with one from another purchased orthosis, I had another issue with the plastic insert on the ankle wrap also breaking. My summary at this point is that the device is a highly useful product that is very close to a perfect solution for individuals suffering from the disability of foot drop due to a range of conditions.

Love them
Love these >>> I repeatedly buy them they are a great value and work out perfect, especially if you have drop foot. Compared to my $1,500 carbon fiber braces I would recommend these any day.

Keeps the drop foot up!
The brace is helping me walk without tripping. I like it a lot. If only they could make the strips that attach to your shoe longer! The Velcro strap did not last too long!

Does the job
The brace was just what I needed. Except for a custom-made brace, this is a good choice for a brace for the drop foot issue. It is easy to put on and provides me with the stability I need to get around. The size was perfect for me. It does not solve the issue. A doctor should still be consulted.

great - lifts your toes!
Great product! Tricky to get on, requires practice to put it on. Helps with toe drop- greatly improves walking without scuffing an tripping. Easier to leave the velcro strip in the laces and detach . Hard to manuever when removing or putting on shoe. Velcro is very very secure and sticky. A video of putting on would be helpful. Requires laces or straps on shoes. Is a miracle product.

Comfortable Support, Helps with Walking
The Tenbon Ankle Support Drop Foot Brace is surprisingly comfortable for something you wear for long periods. The cushioned wrap feels soft against the skin, and the adjustable straps make it easy to get the right fit. It does a nice job improving walking gait and keeping the foot lifted, which really helps with stability. Iโm giving it 4 stars because it takes a little time to get used to, and you have to adjust it just right or it can feel a bit tight. But once itโs set, it stays in place well and offers good support. It also helps reduce cramps and gives some peace of mind for preventing ankle sprains. Overall, solid quality and definitely helpful if you need extra support for drop foot or ankle stability.

Great replacement from older model
This was for my mother. She is a stroke victim and she had a older model with hooks and rubber bands. My mother is very impressed with this model/brand. She brings it up weekly since.

Does not provide the required support for drop foot
Purchased for my mom who has drop foot. Does not velcro tight enough to keep the front of the foot straight or up. Not good support for drop foot.
