I have just upgraded my iMac 18.2 (2017 4K retina, 21.5") from 8gb to 16 gb. I also upgraded my HDD (original fusion 32gb - 1 TB) to SSD (also Timetec, 1TB). It wasn't easy install by straightforward and without issues or problems. My iMac is now on steroids 😁blasting fast (Core i5 3.4GHz). It's a worthy upgrade but I am not recommending DIY if you are not comfortable with process and not familiar with electronics (21.5" iMac must be opened and stripped to the core), 27" iMac no problem (memory user accessible).

Ordered this based upon other’s reviews. Very simple and easy to install. I plugged them into a 2017 27” Retina Imac in the two open slots and it fired right up. No issues, no problems. Maybe took all of 5 minutes start to finish.

Apple has made installing memory a snap and these went it with no issues

The clear product description made it easy to select the proper memory for my iMac. Couple that with the Apple support pages on how to install memory and you have a winning combination. Total time form power down to full function (with double the memory) was under 15 minutes. No errors, no problems. Happy me.

My hard drive on my mid-2017 iMac failed and as I was updating, I decided to add more RAM as well. This was perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install, no issues.

I tried the 16GB Kit First to see how it works, I notice improvement in render times in FCPX. Planning on Orders either another 16 or a pair of 16''s to get rid of the stock 4gb rams. I have the Mid 2017 27in iMAC 5K

Took a while to install on my 21.5 imac. Works just fine. Good value for mone.

Product works as advertised. Customer service by the supplier is excellent.

Works great and way cheaper than buying from Apple. Note that when I booted up after installing, my iMac restarted and looked like it might have crashed, but after the restart everything was working fine. I found out later that it was just recognizing the new memory configuration. The new memory is playing nice with the original Apple memory with no issues, all in all a great value.

El proceso en esta iMac es complicado, debes sacar toda la placa para poder hacerlo, en internet hay videos de como hacerlo y considero debes de tener mínima experiencia. Si lo haces, de una vez cambia tu disco por un SSD, en esta iMac no se requiere de un soporte para disco. En fin, recomiendo totalmente hacer este upgrade, tu iMac lo agradecerá.

TENIA DUDAS DE QUE FUERA O NO COMPATIBLE CON MI MAC, Y SI LO FUE TENGO UNA MAC 18,1 21.5 INCH 2017 NON RETINA LA DIFERENCIA DESPUES DE INSTALAR ES MUCHISIMA Y FUNCIONA MUY BIEN.
