Frigidaire FFRE1533U1 Air Conditioner, White

This machine works great. Wasn't sure what machine to buy. There were simular, and a little cheeper machines out there but they had some bad reviews about there performance.. This one was a little bit more money but only had bad reviews about poor installation or shipping damage.. Mine came in the mail with no damage, and i installed it myself.. Its heavy tho. Had to modify my outer window sill to accomidate a bracket for it. But other than that. So far its quiet (really quiet) and runs great. Keep my 1100 sq foot home nice and cold during the last heat wave we went through.

The air conditioner works great. Keeps my bedroom cool. But the UPS man... I hear bang bang, bang bang outside of my house. Only to walk outside to watch the UPS man rolling my square box Ac unit up the bank in front of my house, to go on and tell me he had no other way to move it (it is 120 lbs and in a large box) and he will mark it as probable damage and that I would have to deal with it.

Cools 500 sq ft in minutes. Remote sensing feature works well as thermostat. A little loud but tolerable. Heavy to install and recommend 2 people for initial placement. I have had the unit for over a year now and by far is the best I have had in this location in the last 20 yrs.

Works great. I use it in an 800sqft area and it does just fine. Its pretty quite and powerful. The remote sensoring feature is pretty cool, set the sensor temp where you want it and place the remote in the area younwant at said temp and the unit picks up temps though remote. When the temp reaches your desired level at the remotes location the a unit shouts down until the remote location temp rises amd the unit kicks back on again. I would definitely recommend this unit.

The instructions were multi purpose for differnet models so it took a few double checks to make sure we were removing the right internal zip ties and screwing into the right places. Other than that, it's so nice to have. Fairly quiet, remote works great, haivng AC, Fan or Eco is wonderful.

I received my a/c damaged with dents on the top and the back of my a/c. I don’t know if “UPS” damaged my a/c or it was shipped from “Everything 4 the Home” damaged to me already. I turned on my a/c and it’s making a loud noise as if the fan spinning on inside is has something inside being kicked around by the fan or something is wrong with the compressor. Besides the a/c being dented and making a loud noise, the a/c doesn’t cool down my room or apartment. I’m going to contact the seller “Everything 4 the home” and Amazon to see how can I return or have them repaired my a/c.

We purchased this unit because it would fit into the casing from a previous Frigidaire A/C that was over 5 years old and finally gave out. This one is quiet and works GREAT! If you need a 15,000 BTU window air conditioner. This one is a keeper.

Man this A/C is awesome for the summer. It quickly cool my apartment to chilled temperature. My wife love the cold soooo sweaters,socks and pant for me. Hahaha awesome a/c. Note to remember because of the weight install extra support. What i did was go to home depot and purchased flat steel bar. Cut it to A/C size, drilled one hole to each side and attached them to the bottom of A/C case. Once done i place the case onto window support and you can feel it's not going to fall. Don't forget to add window support L bracket the come with a/c .
