Awesome fly magnet
I don’t know how it happened. I had a sudden infestation of flies now everyone knows that a spray bottle with soapy. Water will incapacitate and eventually kill a fly, but I couldn’t keep up these fly magnet stickies are awesome. They haven’t been up for hours and they’re doing their job. There’s no oder they attract flies to their death.

Cheap and effective, if you have a place to hang it.
It's a strip of glue. If you've never used such a thing before, then this seems like an ineffective way to catch flies, but if you leave it alone for any period of time, you'll be surprised by what you find stuck to it when you come back. I don't know if it's "sufficiently" sticky, but I have multiple traps practically encrusted with flies so whatever it is, it is sticky enough. The big problem is that there are places I have an infestation but no place to attach it to; light fixtures seem best since flies like the light and will happily fly right into the trap but if you have no such place then you'll need alternate solutions. I'd take a half star away from the review if I could for that particular issue, as well as the fact that, well, it makes no bones about the fact it's basically a length of packing tape flapping in the wind and you'll be greeted with a strip of fly corpses whenever you enter a room which might be a little off-putting to say the least. I'd probably also not use this for anything save a plague of flies, the stray fly that might find in an otherwise bug-free home probably should be dealt with in a more manual method.

Super sticky! A good price
Very, VERY, sticky! I ruined the first one and it ended up stuck to me and breaking - so be very careful twisting it out of the tube, don't let it touch anything! Had to use dish liquid to get it off my skin. So far it is catching gnats, so I may put one in the kitchen as well as the bathroom - it did not catch the huge flys that were getting in, I think they laughed at it, but if they did touch it I have no doubt it would have caught them.

Nice and sticky! Don't waste them! READ!
These are priced cheap and very sticky! I am not a fan of killing things but when flies get into your house, they poop everywhere and multiply quickly. If you have a litter box in the house they also get into the boxes and then fly around and touch many surfaces. Unfortunately it requires traps such as these, to rid the problem. It is hard to keep flies out of the house when opening the door, etc. Make sure when you go to hang these you, twist/pull the fly paper out of the tubes at the same time. I pulled some without twisting and they ripped, wasted 2 of them.

I guess my flies aren’t magnetic. 😫
We are having some work done in our kitchen, so people are going in and out of the house quite often, which led to several houseflies being in the house at any given time. They always gathered at the windows over the kitchen sink, so that’s where I hung the fly magnet. I pulled it out to its full length with high expectations. Those expectations were shattered. In 5 days, not one fly got stuck to the “magnet.” Flies were still congregating right near it at the kitchen windows, but not one of them landed on it. The only thing it did catch was a little bit of my hair when I leaned in too far while scrubbing a pot in the sink, but that was on me.

Unattractive Fly Magnets for the few caught
I didn't find the Terro Sticky Fly trap to be super effective against the flies I was seeing in my house. Yes, it caught maybe 3-4 at most, but for the difficulty putting them up, or finding places to hang them, I think some kind of trap would have worked better. Whatever odor it is supposed to use to attract the flies didn't seem to attract very well. They are not the most attractive item to have hanging on one's house, either. I think unless I need for garage, shed or barn use, I'll stick to some kind of unobtrusive trap instead.

Works great and non-toxic -- it just takes some time / patience
This helped me get rid of a massive fruit fly problem I had in my kitchen. I hung up 3 of these. Don't expect the problem to go away instantly or in a day or so.... it takes time if you have a lot of insects. But eventually it gets the job done. I sometimes place some wine or vinegar in a little pinch bowl near the strips as bait so that the flies get attracted to the general area where the strips are, and eventually they land on the strips. The other thing I do is use my vacuum (with the crevice tool) to go after any flies that hang out on surfaces (counter tops, cabinets) near the strips. (Eventually I discovered that the flies were living in the soil of a flower pot, and getting rid of the plant helped solve some of the problem...)

The only one's you'll ever need!
These really do work! And I mean nothing works better! The others are just sticky traps! That's it! These have a science behind them, that really attracts the bugs! It's going to shock you how many bugs this will catch so quickly! Others takes months! The quality is also unmatched. I've tried many many different ones before! Edited: After reading other reviews after writing this one, I realized one thing! It probably works very well if it's hung up right up under a ceiling light! Because that's exactly where all of mine are hanging! Bugs are attracted to the light! Hang right up under your ceiling light! Use the screws already on the ceiling light if you can't use the tack! Just hang it via the screw part hanging out of the light cover! Or remove the cover, and hang from the screws inside! Idk, but the trick has worked well in every single room!!! And someone said these aren't baited, yes they are! If you have used their ant baits, you know!!!

Works brilliantly
I have a few of these in my large garden courtyard, which we have fenced off for 2 puppies to play (until they can be trusted in the yard not to hurt themselves or destroy the reticulation and the garden). These hang out of reach over their 2 potty areas and do a great job. Just remember to be very careful not to let your pups get at them. We had a strong wind and one blew down. While they’re not toxic they are a strip of gunk covered fabric. Luckily our dog finally vomitted it up so we discovered what had happened to it and it didn’t get stuck in his intestines. The other day it was extremely windy and one must have blown off and was eaten by one of the puppies. It appeared in vomit a day later and in diarrhoea over a couple of days. Looked it up and thank goodness no insecticides are used and the substance isn’t toxic. I now take that one down when it’s very windy!

Very bad product
I read a review saying do not waste your money on this, I should have listened, do not waste your money seriously this is useless, not a single fly. You might as well hang some toilet paper instead, probably more effective.
