TBH I did not expect a lot due to how low priced it is, I was surprised, very little smoke very good quality and sturdy and very easy to use, I have only used wood so can’t comment on pellets. Would buy another when the need arises.Can’t say how warm it gets as a fire pit as only tried in my back yard and in this weather it is freezing outside. Feel the warmth from it so I do believe it will do for what I want it to when it gets a bit warmer so sit outside.

Burns really well, very little smoke due to burning fast. Goes through wood fast as a result. You’ll need short bits of wood as they fall over the top if too long, or pellets.But it’s easy to use; easy to clean and does the job of a fire pit on a small scale.Don’t worry about what colour to order as after the first use it’ll look burnt and discoloured. I don’t mind that.

Great bit of kit! Easy to light, clean and sleek looking. Works perfectly, flames dance beautifuly and attractive. We Even do some cooking of bits of halloumi cheese and fresh tuna and prawns on long metal skewers. Highly recommend!!

Nice and small easy to clean to

I did read the reviews and would totally agree with the most relevant comments, - Dosen't last long - and - Smokeless eventually -I purchased a large bag of wood pellets and they came in a sealed plastic bag so felt completely dry, I had long matches but every time I pushed them through the small hole to lite the tinder the flame immediately went out, so I would recommend a long stem gas lighter.The tinder caught fire fast and the pellets took a few minutes to catch fire during which an acceptable amount of smoke was produced, even though I hadn't loaded that many pellets the flame shot up about a foot and a half, very impressive in size and shape, however, as stated it only lasted a few minutes before dying down with the pellets inside glowing red.I added a handfull of pellets, but this time it bellowed out a ridiculas amount of thick grey smoke, I was forced to move away from it, this continued for about four or more minutes before the flame shot up again, again the impressive flame only lasted a few minutes before disappearing.This was my first use and a bit of a test obviously.So far -The flame looks amazing, high and an incredible shape.The flame in my test was too high tohave on a table, it was the size of flame you would expect to have from a fire on the ground although it formed a narrow column.I am not sure why it smoked so much so I will need to test it more with small pieces of wood or twigs, I can't see how the new bag of pellets would be damp but i will try drying a handfull in the house to see if that makes a differance.Even if it works without smoking its such an intense flame that you will spend a lot of time just topping it up, so not exactly relaxing for you.As I said it is worth reading the reviews as I don't think this will be for everyone.. my gut feel is that its for short term use, like roasting marsh mallows then just put it away until next timeIt seems like it will take a bit of experimentation to get the flame and the fuel right so I will update later with more use.Just tried it again, this time with small dry wood, cut to fit, I didn't add the small metal cup to see if it would burn longer and the flame was not as high, got a bit of smoke then the flame and it was just as high, it seemed to burn through the wood as fast as the pellets, I added handfulls of pellets and it did the same, the only thing i haven't tried is filling it up with small pieces of wood or pellets to see if it will last longer before needing topped up.A few positives -After using the pellets the first time when I checked it to clean out the ash, there was almost nothing left to empty.I had placed it on top of a small slab and when I slid it to one side and felt the slab it wasnt even warm, even though the three legs don't create that much space below the container, so it certainly seems safe enough to place on a table, however, I would at least put down a thin piece of slate to create a barrier.

Brilliant. Using wood pellets and burns all evening giving great heat and visually the flames look amazing.

This stove is amazing. Takes seconds to get going using wood pieces that are 7-10cm long 2-3cm wide. I use one firefighter to get started. The heat output is good for late spring and summer evenings. Beautiful to sit back and watch. The best thing is there is no smoke (30 seconds worth as it gets started and this is minimal). There are hardly any ashes once it has it has finished burning. Great value for money.

This is a great product, I use pellets and when lit by placing the firelighter on top of the pellets there is very little smoke and no smoke when fully lit, the body does get very hot so be careful if you need to move it, the flames are attractive and the air channels promote a good effect and clean burning. A small handful of pellets added occasionally keep it going. A very welcome addition to our outdoor space. Surprising to fi d it still smouldering the next morning.The body does get HOT. (You should know this).
