Some other reviewers complained about these bags not being symmetrical, thus causing sealing issues. I have been using these now for several weeks and they are working fine. Decent bags for a decent price.

Most of the time these are great. We order them every couple of months as we freeze leftovers and seal them in these bags. The last order previous to this one the bags came in smaller than the stated size. They were still usable (barely) and I was out of bags. The outer bag said 8x12 but the bags measured 7x9. I used them so I can't complain to much but just know they are not always the correct size.

I mostly use these when I package my dogs food. A couple times a week I make a batch of homemade Farmers style dog food and I portion it into these bags for storage. I seal the top closed, cut them in half and then I use one half of a bag to portion 1 cup of her food. Once they cool completely they go into the fridge until he meal time. One bag is good to package two of her meals so they'll last me nearly half a year before I'll need to buy more of them. They would last a bit longer but I do use them for my people food too.
