Works well but a little expensive
It works well, and so far no problem with noise. It seems well-made. I wish it was available in black. It seems Hosa must buy it from someone else because it has a cheap-looking crooked sticker on it. However, I’ll still give it five stars. It does what I needed, connected to a Sennheiser e935 microphone.

Great Product That Works
When I ordered I felt certain that the product would work properly in turning my headset mic on and off. My huge concern was whether I would get any noticeable pop on my system. I am happy to say that it is completely quiet with zero apparent pop. I will stress that this is based on my system only. We shall see how the on / off switch holds up. If any issues I will try to update.

Good switch
Strange but this cuts off the microphone but if I disconnect the microphone from this switch I get a pop. Otherwise it does what it's supposed to do. Not sure why it has to be so large and slightly heavy.

easy to install, easy to use, no audio degredation from what I can tell - 100% worth the price.
Needed a mute switch for my shure sm7b on the pc. Bought this adapter and it works perfectly. Easy on/off switch, easy to install, subtle and doesn't take up much room. What else is there to say?

It Works!
It works great!... downside is the size. It is to obviously noticed because of color and length. Second downside is when in use, turning it off picks up loudly on the microphone. Making an adjustment maybe in the on/off switch to make it softer or smoother may prevent the loud clicking sound when turning the mic off.

Fantastic Switch for a Bargain!
Got this for my XLR mic- moving from a USB and am used to having a mute switch. The ability to turn it on/off on the fly is very helpful while streaming! I did some tests and noticed no drop in quality whatsoever, and there's no popping when I turn the mic on or off. Fantastic product! Thank you!

It's light, very light. The materials and manufacture quality are in line with what you would expect from a low budget item Made in China. That said it works well enough on all the dynamic microphones and associated XLR leads I've tried it on. Completely noiseless and so far reliable. Do not try and use this with Condenser (or phantom powered) Microphones!! I use it with my head mounted mic which doesn't have an isolation switch (I play keyboards in my current band) and so having a means to switch off the mic is invaluable during a gig, ....'cough, cough'. Yep, that can be disastrous during a song, not to mention embarrassing.
