Not reliable for everyday use.
We used about three or four times and it stopped pumping. We use ours for the bathtub because the city drains take forever to drain. itโs not like Iโm running it like crazy, just for a quick drain after showering and itโs already broken.

Small and light, good price, handy little pump
Handy little pump. I bought it for a sump pump backup but I have only used it for pumping off the winter pool tarp. Probably not the fastest pump for that application, but have only used a 3/4 inch garden hose on it. I am not sure if a 1 inch hose would make a lot of difference. I would guess no. The discharge pressure appears to be slightly less then city pressure. For the price, handy little pump

powerful water pump with noise
I have used this pump for over 2 weeks and found it very powerful to extract water. I do notice that sometimes it may cut off for a split of a second and then resume working again. Once a while I need to immerse it to a bucket of clean water to unclog any dirt that it may have caught. I like the fact that I can connect my garden hose to the adapter perfectly. I would have given it 5* if it is a little bit quiet. I guess the noise and the suction power are positively correlated. Overall, I am happy with it.
