Great product
Very fine white sand. Needed to refill one of those sand art bases and this was a great option. Fair price for what you get. Didn't used half of it so got more to replenish it when needed. Not messy, easy to clean when it gets stuck to the cover. But some humidity makes it easier to work with. Would but again

This sand is perfect and a beautiful white. It's super fine and smooth. I'm very happy. Thank you.

As described
It didn't do what I wanted it to do, but it is fine, clean, white sand so as described.

Perfect support for kiln firing!
I actually got this for an unconventional purpose: to use in a kiln! I make precious metal clay jewelry that has to be fired in a kiln at temperatures from 1400-1800 degrees. Sometimes it's necessary to support a piece to help prevent slumping, but you don't want the support material to leave marks. One of the most popular materials is a powder that's also quite toxic if inhaled! Someone suggested the quartz sand as a replacement and voila! It works beautifully! You just make a little pile and nestle your piece. The sand withstands the temperatures (it does discolor slightly but that is no problem for my purpose), it is so fine there is no texture issue, and it provides perfect support for the pieces - like a cloud!

Nice Sand But Pricey
One pound of sand for $10! That’s just way too expensive for so little sand. Yes, it’s nice white sand, but if you need more for your project or whatever, it’s going to cost you.
