Great & stylish 3-in-one purifier, fan and heater
We’ve had this about a month now. It is easy to use and is effective at warming up a room. The purification function seems to work well and the app lets you know key measurements like air quality, temperature and filter life. We like the clean modern design and quiet operation. When oscillating, there is a slight and faint knock noise as it reaches the end of the desired oscillation angle but after a while you don’t notice it. Assembling the device was simple and was just removing some the plastic protective wraps and installing the filter. The heat function was nice to have this winter as it helped supplement the HVAC and keep my office nice and warm.

Cannot control heat cycle!
First Blueair is a very good filtering device companies. I own four of better hepa filter units and I am completely satisfied and give them high marks. They might not should be in the heater business with the 3 in 1 cool, filter and heat introduced last year. The units would wither not cut off and heat as high as 7 degrees warmer then the selection or they just would stop heating all together. The 3 in 1’s I owned, do not maintain temperature in a 12x12 room well. It will heat 5-7 degrees higher than the device setting. Also the device setting for temperature skips around not allowing best temperature setting of choice. My $99 heater by a brand manufacturer maintains temp 1-2 degrees of the selection to the actual room temperature. This unit costs over $400, and there is a systemic issue with the heat cycle. I returned this twice and had same issues with all three unit’s. Blueair stood by the 1 year warranty but couldn’t ship me a device that worked as expected. The comment from their support was: The temperature skipping and heating behavior you described align with how the heating mode is designed to function. When setting the target temperature, the display may skip certain numbers — this is normal behavior. The heater will continue running until the room reaches the selected temperature, and then it will automatically turn off. If the room temperature drops below the set level, the unit will resume heating to maintain the desired temperature. Well as you can see from the above photo and unit taken seconds apart, this was not the case. The unit exceeded the desired temperature setting.

this thing is huge
I did not expect to see this huge box show up on my doorstep. be prepared to find room for this monster. Otherwise all features work as expected, lil disappointed that i cannot schedule the heat, apparently a safety feature prevents heat from being scheduled to come on or off. definite value for money, air quality is great. I will come back after a year when i have been thru few seasons with this.

Disappointed
I own 3 other BlueAir purifiers at different price points and I was excited about purchasing this but I had immediate regret when I realized the fabric on the outer shell was not able to be cleaned which is in contrast to the other models I own. I kept reading through the instruction manual and other comments but kept seeing how it could be only spot cleaned. I returned it based on this solely and took a star off for this reason alone. I can’t speak to how well it functions which I’m sure would be up to my standards because I’ve loved all of blueair’s products. It appears the smaller version has a completely plastic outer shell so I may buy that one instead.

I own two!
Love the air filtration, connecting to an app, and that this also has a fan and a heater. Perfect for year round

Quiet air purifier.
Works as advertised. Nice clean looking unit for my bedroom. I usually keep it on “auto” during the day and “night mode” when sleeping. It’s very quiet and you can’t even hear it running. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Keep it or not? I dunno
First of all, the star rating for this product is misleading because it includes ratings from other Blueair products. If you filter by just the ComfortPure, you'll see a more accurate rating, which is definitely less than 5 stars. Secondly, I noticed a review mentioning a ticking sound from the ComfortPure, and mine does the same. Whether it's on auto or not, it starts to tick after an hour or two when in heating mode. I haven't used the app, but I do have a $120 wall unit heater that comes with an app. It heats my room just as quietly and consistently, turns off when it reaches the desired temperature, and allows for control of its heating functionality and scheduling. I really wanted the ComfortPure to work, but with all the reviews highlighting hardware issues and my unit starting to make ticking sounds after just a few days, it feels like a $500 risk. Positive: It looks great and feels great. The design is fantastic. Update: Ticking was not persistent. Not sure why it started or went away. I returned it because I had some doubt. I decided to try the smaller unit t10i. However, this came with what sounds like a loose part at the bottom of the case, perhaps for the oscillator? Not sure. Again, it’s just more doubt. Also, the t10i is all plastic whereas the t20i has this nice fabric material. I’m not sure how they ever sold the t10i for $500. Unfortunately this is getting returned because of the loose part.
