Package of 100 Seeds, Sensitive Plant Seeds- Mimosa Pudica, Moving Plant, Shy Plant, Shameful Plant, Touch-me-not - Green Plant for Garden Decoration

These little guys are so cool, a friend of mine got a full grown plant and I fell in love with it and had to have one but couldn't find them anywhere so I decided to grow my own.Package arrived right on time and we'll seald. I started the seeds by putting them in the fridge for 72 hours then soaked them in warm water by a window for 24 hrs than planted them in soil. They spouted in 2 days (first picture). The last picture is about 9-10 days old and they are all ready moving! Super easy to grow, just lightly water Every morning and stick in a window. Boom done. I had no issues with seeds not germinating got 80-90% of them to sprout by day 4. I would not heasatate to order again, and still might these would make a fun gift for kiddos or any plant enthusiast, you don't even need a green thumb to get these little guys going - 5 stars!

I actually give this zero stars. I germinated half. Nothing happened after 2 weeks. Then I planted those and the other half. Have been misting them a few times a day every day for 3 weeks and not a single sprout. I don’t believe these were viable seeds and it’s very unfortunate because I wanted these for a project to do with my kids.

Used these to plant them in little pots as gifts for my Kindergarten students. Out of 36 - about 8 did not sprout - I replanted some more and they did!! Fun plant for kids!! We loved watching it grow and touch!

These never sprouted, never grew. When I got these I also got sunflower seeds and 2 other types of seeds they all sprouted and are growing these however never grew.

Do not waste your money. 14 out of a package of 100 only grew. Very disappointed as these were for my daughters class. Now have to do something else. No contact info to contact company either.

totally disappointed with the seeds. I tried at least 50 seeds but nothing germinated. waste of money

Out of the 100 seeds we planted, only three sprouted then promptly died.

I bought these seeds hoping to grow them in a nice pot and out of the "100" seeds only about 8 of them sprouted and died after reaching approximately 1/2 inch in height with 2 tiny leaves. I tried every different way to grow them, from soaking the seeds to different soil combinations. I was extremely disappointed and will not buy them from this seller again. Especially since I was told by the seller that it was probably my fault that I didn't have a successful plant. I say it was old expired seeds.

Not sure why a lot of people are complaining about these seeds germinating. I had success within my first attempt and have only had one or two mimosas that were duds (which is expected with every plant).Make sure you are soaking them for at least 24 hours in water. It helps if its hot, as this helps ensure the seed can break down enough to absorb water because the outer layer is a lot thicker. The only problem I had was once they sprouted they ended up dying within the first week. If you are new to growing this plant its going to take practice to find the right method that works for you.Mimosas are pretty picky when it comes to watering them. You don’t want them to dry out and you really don’t want to overwater or it will cause the plant to damp off; which I had experienced myself. If you are growing them in a colder environment this will take a lot longer to germinate. I recommend finding a decent heating pad as well as growing lights if this is a problem that you have.

These seeds were a joke, planted the seeds took 6 months to grow and its not even a sensitive plant at all, it has round leaves and the sensitive plane has jagged leaves so I don't know what the heck is growing , its not the correct seeds they sent , don't but them because its not even what it says it is, beware.

Not healthy seed didn’t grow all

The seeds came in a small sealed packet. After I studied a few YouTube videos, I took 41 seeds and submerged them in a glass of hot water (~40 C) for half an hour. I then laid the bottom of a small plastic container with several layers of wet kitchen paper and put the seeds on top. I sealed the top of the plastic container with kitchen wrap. After 3 days, a few seeds started to germinate and 34 (out of 41) seeds germinated! They were transferred to the seeding tray (see photo). The young leaves will fold when I touch them. I am pleasantly surprised by the high germination rate and am satisfied with this purchase.
