I chose the Hubble HBL9450A 50 Amp outlet based on lots of recommendations for charging EVs. I ordered this accompanying cover and returned it because I thought it was white and I expected a stainless steel finish. The next one looked the same. Then I read some reviews and saw that the white finish was actually a protective coating which you had to peel off. I peeled it off and the cover is perfect! I wish it had been made clear on the product information page that this was the case. But most people probably figured this out. I also read one of the more negative reviews which said that the holes on the cover didn’t line up with the holes on the outlet. They do. You just have to rotate the over left or right if at first they don’t line up. The screw holes don’t form a perfect square as you might think. They match the pattern on the outlet.

This plate saved my butt. It fits 50 amp 3 phase receptacles. I needed a plate to fit a nema 15-50. The normal plates for a dryer or range plug are just a tiny bit smaller than this one

Does not fit Hubbell 9450R 14-50 receptacle. Description shows diameter of 2.48" however the one I received is only 2.14" which is too small.

This outlet cover is perfect for the Hubbel and Bryant NEMA 14-50 receptacle. Remember to take off the white protective plastic...or don't it will look good with it too. It is very sturdy but i feel expensive for what it is

This is a quality stainless steel cover for the Hubbell 14-50 receptacle. It is very well made and includes four stainless steel screws. After spending $90 on the outlet itself, you'll likely need to spend another $20 or so on this cover. It is not white, as some other reviewers have stated. It ships with a protective plastic film that you need to peel off after installation.

Picture clearly depicts a silver plated outlet cover, what I received is a poorly painted white outlet cover that is clearly damaged and filled with all sorts of scratches. The packaging was just a tiny amazon bag with nothing preventing the product from being tossed around. You guys need to do a better job with packing orders. Lazy and pathetic work.

2 31/64" ID cover plates are not found at your local hardware store and even the electrical supply warehouse in my area did not have them. Expensive for what it is, but the quality seems solid and it fits the Bryant NEMA 14-50 plug perfectly.
