Works pretty well. Used this with some translucent pva glue from the kids stationary shop on the high street and it took a few small measures to get working. We had added a bit of acrylic kids paint and along with it being see through glue that might be why it took a while to work. Needed a lot of stirring. I’m sure contact lens cleaning solution worked better 5 years back when we last made slime. Knocking off a point for the need to re-add and lots of stirring.

I was half expecting to get this and add to PVA and get slime ... well it wasn't as straight forward as that! I discovered by adding shaving foam it worked straight away! I spent the best part of 2 hours trying to add this, slowly, as per the instructions on the bottle, to 100ml of PVA glue. 8ml per 100ml did absolutely nothing at all. After adding a further 30ml still not much happened. My daughter wasn't happy, she was expecting instant slime (as all children probably will). It looked as though it was about to thicken up and go stringy but the more activator I added the less confidence I had. I abandoned this after using almost 50ml of activator. I was determined to make this work especially afer reading nothing but good reviews on Amazon. I found some videos on YouTube and shaving foam was mentioned a few times. I tried the shaving foam and as if by magic it suddenly worked! I repeated the process starting with shaving foam and PVA together, mixed them thoroughly. I then added the activator in a single cap full, mixed it well and boom it was instant slime! It is rather a wet slime so maybe I need to tweak how much activator to add - would be nice if there were further instructions. Not sure how others have had success, whether they used shaving foam or not or perhaps my PVA wasn't 'PVA' enough (I used Everbuild universal PVA Bond) or maybe the activator itself is from a dickie batch. Who knows. I'm writing this review to potentially warn others - it does work, but it may not work the way it is advertised. Best to experiment - it's what kids love best!

The BEST and EASIEST slime activator I have ever used. No need to mix anything just open up the bottle and add to glue. It’s amazing and doesn’t need a lot to activate a lot of slime. Will be buying again when I run out and 10000000% recommend to anyone who wants a slime activator.

We had to use a lot of it to activate the slime. It did eventually work.

It works!!! I used it as it instructs, 100ml (ish) of glue, added the gel food colouring (warmed in a mug of hot water) and mixed well…added 8ml of activator and mix mix mixed! If it’s too sticky keep adding drops of activator. If it starts getting too crunchy, like it snaps apart when you pull it, add a little more PVA. You need to knead it well to mix it thoroughly, but that’s half the fun!
