Life among the American super-rich, skilfully portrayed and with convincing characters and believable plot lines. A good read which has opened up a new reading seam for me to mine. Dominic Dunne seems to have an unrivalled knowledge of this section of American society.

Brilliant book. Can't recommend enough. Perfect take down of the snobbishness and ridiculous airs of those that think they're better than everyone else.

Great read took it on summer vacation and was a real page turner

I really enjoyed this book. I had never read anything by this author so I came with an open mind. The writing is engaging and deliciously gossipy. The myriad of characters were a little confusing at first but the important ones soon became clear. Theirs was a world with which I could never have identified but found utterly fascinating. I definitely recommend this book for an entertaining read.
