I originally bought this Macally keyboard as a temporary backup, but after using it, it has officially become my main keyboard! My original Apple Magic Keyboard, which I used for 5 years, recently started malfunctioning, and this budget-friendly keyboard completely saved the day. For such an affordable price, the value is absolutely incredible. It has a full-size layout with a dedicated number pad, which makes typing numbers and passwords so much more efficient. Compared to the very shallow keys on the Apple keyboard, this one has a slightly longer key travel. It gives a very satisfying, tactile feel with a bit of a clicky sound—typing on it feels so comfortable and responsive for long working sessions. Since it’s a wired keyboard, it adds a cord to my desk, but honestly, it gives me total peace of mind. I no longer have to worry about low battery warnings, bluetooth lag, or connection dropouts. It’s rock-solid and always works the second I turn on my Mac.

Bought this keyboard for work to replace my Apple keyboard that went south for the winter. (It no longer functions properly.) I also wanted a full size keyboard, because I wasn't crazy about the mini keyboard — especially because of the number keys and the delete key only went in one direction. This keyboard is light to the touch when I type, but has some weight to it, so it doesn't move around while I type. It looks good with my Mac and my keyboard shortcuts work the same. I made sure to follow the directions when I first hooked it up as other reviews recommended. The Mac will want to map to the new keyboard. After I did that it worked fine, except that the Caps lock and Function lock lights didn't come on. So, I figured — since I had it plugged into a USB Hub — that I just needed to unplug and replug it back in. That worked. Now the Caps Lock light seems to come on properly. However, there's no problem with the lights when I plug it directly into the computer. Other than that I really like this keyboard and plan to buy another for home use. EDIT: The caps lock indicator didn't stay on in either case. it would eventually become nonfunctional, which can be a problem when I need to log in and can't see what i type. The company, sent me a replacement and i am glad to say it seems to be working better (but it still does go out at times). I'm still pleased with the feel of the keyboard and with the company response.

Works great. It is nice to have a number pad on the keyboard. It is also nice to never have to charge the battery on the keyboard (because it is hardwired). The best part is that it is affordable.

This keyboard is still working after 10 months of use. However, the letters on the keys are wearing off on the A-S-D-F keys, probably because they are the most used keys. Also, the little protrusions/bumps on the F and J keys are wearing down, so it is often hard to situate my hands without looking at the keys. When those protrusions/bumps are finally worn down, this keyboard will be less useful. I am actively looking for a replacement USB wired keyboard for mac.

Great replacement for the Apple wired keyboard. It feels and sounds like the original. I really like the caps lock light indicator being in the top right of the keyboard instead of on the actual caps lock key.

Arrivata in un buon imballo, è perfetta al tocco (il feedback dei tasti è veramente gradevole) e oserei dire che è meglio dell'originale perché rimane salda sulla scrivania. Anche il cavo è più lungo di quello della tastiera originale. Attenzione però: questa tastiera è perfetta per chi come me usa la QWERTY americana. Chi usa la tastiera italiana (oppure chi usa quella inglese britannica) deve comprare rispettivamente un modello IT o UK/GB.

Item worked as expected when connected to my MacBook Pro. I also use it with a Dell PC and it also works fine. Product finish matched well with Apple products and it appears to be robust.

I’ve been using an old black Lenova keyboard for so many years, it was time to switch things up a bit. I purchased this keyboard because I liked the sleek look of it. It took a bit to get used to the flatter keys, but I’m enjoying it so far. I haven’t had any issues with it. The keys are pretty silent and you don’t need a lot of force to type. My one complaint would be that it sits too flat than what I’m used to, so I’ve ordered a wrist rest, and a couple keyboard risers. This is a really decent keyboard for a great price.
