3 Month Review
Hi everyone. I was looking for a new phone that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and still delivered a reasonable performance with some physical endurance both in battery and build endurance. I then came across the Armor 24 and was a little bit dubious given it's size and weight... I thought that hey, my previous phone was a Ulefone and it lasted me 4 years, so I went for it! 3 months later I can say I'm 99% happy with it's performance and resilience plus with Android 14 it runs like a dream. It's quick enough for my needs (which do not include gaming) ranging from emails, social media, browsing, shopping, the occasional video streaming and a lot more. The OS works efficiently and is kept updated. Of note is the battery performance - with regular use I'm getting 3 weeks plus from a full charge! The only downside (hence the 1% of sadness - not really though) is the weight....if on a long call it becomes apparent that it's not designed, primarily, for this! That said I'm surprised that it fits in my pocket! Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase, I would recommend it if you're looking for something that is not type cast and doesn't cost a "month's wage" to get. The Armor 24 stands out and delivers in spades....my work colleagues nicknamed it Godzilla, it's a Beast ๐

Brilliant field PDA/EUD
Iโll start by saying this isnโt being used as a conventional edc phone, I still run an iPhone for that. However this device has been used as a offline field device for emergency preparedness and bush-crafting along with being used along with amateur radio equipment. Battery life is beyond excellent, the large light on the rear is brilliant for short range navagation or used as a umbrella light to light up a room, the night vision camera is decent and Iโve actually used the on board IR lights with my night vision monocular to help with illumination in dark areas. My only gripes with it at this time is the camera focus can take a while and photo quality can be hit and miss however this is not as much of a concern for my use, the main gripe is with the SD card. Ulefone does not allow exfat or NFTS formatting for the SIM card while used as supplemental storage. As such you are limited to a max 4GB file size, as I use kiwix on this device (offline Wikipedia storage and multiple resources) I have to juggle between on board storage for larger files and the SD card for small. The issue here is the large files can be easily in excess of 100GB so I have had to compromise on certain resources so I donโt completely overload the on board storage which is a bummer, if this wasnโt an issue it would give this 6 stars if it was possible For my use case this is a amazing rugged device for field use, having a offline data cache of manuals and resources along with offline mapping data via OsmAnd itโs been brilliant so far in the last month in which it has seen extensive use already here at home and also in the USA [Note: currently there has been issues with other users trying to use the contactless payment via Google pay due to certification issues with Ulefone, if this is a dealbreaker I highly reccomend researching this first to see if this issue has been resolved before purchasing, I believe ATT of this review a patch is beginning to be rolled out] Update @ 20/3/2025: device is still going strong for its use case, oniy addition at this time is attaching a stylus on a lanyard so that I can use the screen while wearing gloves, continuing to recommend the device for the mentioned use cases

Heavy but worth it
This is my 3rd ulephone. It's heavy but the battery gives me 6 days use. Useful when I'm out of range of electricity. It's got everything I can think of in a phone. The camping light is a nice feature. Very bright.

This is a phone and everything else
I've been holding back to review the phone because until now it's never missed a beat. Honestly such a good phone good reception I loved it. It did a update which are few and far for most Chinese smartphones and normally would carry on regardless. But it has got messed up and now constantly boot loops. So it's possible it's either software or worst case hardware. But such a good phone mental note weighs a lot the amount of times I have forgot and it's pulled my shorts down. But the light is the brightest thing we had many power cuts saved but it does get very hot. Charging is hit and miss you get a plug saying 66 watts but it can take a while to charge. Screen was really good could play games very well. I do like the phones being rugged you know you aren't going cry when you drop it. Shame it died but when it worked it was an apple and Samsung beater in one way or the other you could physically beat the others to pieces and this would still work.

Very heavy but overall a good phone.
Besides the bulk it's good value for the price. This phone does not appear to be designed for frequent use daily due to its weight. But for those that are outdoors, in rough environments and etc this phone is likely ideal for you. The very camping light on the back of the phone is indeed very bright. The brightness options seems a bit limited. Going from low the high brightness is only a slight difference, but most rugged phones don't have a camping light so this is better then nothing. There is still a regular flashlight light on the rear of the phone.

When the phone arrived it was absolutely massive
When the phone arrived it was absolutely massive, far bigger and heavier than i thought. It is an inch thick and really not usable as a normal day to day phone even with the holster which i had to pay another ยฃ30 extra for. Not good overall

This is a beast of a phone
This is a beast of a phone - if you don't like carrying a "brick" around then this phone is not for you. The screen is very clear and the whole phone is very rugged and well built. At this stage, I can't really comment on the memory capacity - however, it is an easy phone to use. Happy with this purchase!!
