I've been wearing a pair of Apple AirPods for years. Last year, I started hearing some ringing sound even when I'm not wearing them! That's when I decided to drop them like a bad habit and replace them with open-ear headphones. After shopping around for a bit, it was between the Baseus Bowie MC1 and the Anker Soundcore C30i. The Baseus MC1 won me over because it has button controls! Here are my first impressions: Pros 👍👍👍 - Fit and Feel: They clip on and stay on! When you finally take them, there's no pressure or discomfort! - Design: Looks are subjective but Baseus have done a good job making this pair look decent. - Quality is when a product meets or exceeds your expectations. Those did for me! - Connectivity: Solid and reliable! And unlike my expensive AirPods, the MC1 actually supports multipoint connection! - Ease of Use: When you first take them out, they are already in pairing mode. If you want to pair a second device, press the button at the bottom of the carry case. It was intuitive and uneventful, exactly how I like it! - Durability: TBD. I've only had mine for a few days. - Value: I bought mine for $50 on sale. I am really happy with what I got for my money. - Sound Quality: I listen primarily to audiobooks, some podcast and lyric-free soundtracks to clear my head. At 50% volume, my listening experience is really good. If my environment is busy or windy, I crank up the music to 75% and that drowns out the background. Everyone's ears are different but I really enjoy the open, pressure-free hearing experience. Cons 👎👎👎 - I personally don't have anything to complain about at this point. The pair lacks the heft or quality feel in the hand, but then again, I spent $50 for it, so, yeah, I got my money's worth and then some! - You could download a companion app to fine-tune your listening experience, but I don't care for that. The Bottom Line 🧐 We are constantly making trade-offs. This set of earbuds by Baseus delivers what it promises: an open, pressure-free, and hassle-free listening experience. They sound loud and clear (to me, anyways) and offer great value for their price point. I am happy with my purchase, and I have no problem recommending them to others. If anything changes, I will update my review to let you know. I hope my short review has helped make a more informed buying decision 👍😊✌️

Finally some earbuds that stay put. They are easy to use, and easy to connect. Customer service quickly responsive, and helped me reset when needed. The sound quality is very good. The battery only lasted 5 hours for me but Baseus customer service resolved that issue easily. I would definitly buy these again because they are good value for the money.

I really like these open ear buds. I like them so much that I bought two pair. I have used many different types of ear buds from the top of the line Samsung, Bose and Sony earbuds but these are the most comfortable where as my ear doesn't really get tired and I sometime forget I have them on. These ear buds aren't winning any awards for sound quality but they are good enough. I bough these to listen to podcast and make calls and for that - they serve the purpose. If you are an audiophile this are not for you. For the price I think they are a decent value but I haven't tried many open ear style ear buds in this price range so can't really compare. These don't seem to last as long as my Samsung Galaxy buds and take longer to charge, but I work from home, so charging speed isn't an issue for me. As far as issue are concerned, the first pair I purchased had Bluetooth connection issues. So I returned and received a replacement and haven't had those issues since. Also, there have been a couple of time where I have put them in the charging case and they have not disconnected from my phone thus they are not charging. I have boiled this down to the contacts not being perfectly clean. My 1 year old loves to run around with these and her little baby fingers dirty up the contacts and then it would charge correctly. This brings me to the actual cleaning of the ear buds - it easy with the exception of the speaker grill. If you get anything in that speaker grill, baby goop, BBQ sauce, ear wax - I'm not sure how you will clean it as the holes on the grill are tiny. Maybe a sewing needle would fit in there but a sim card ejection tool doesn't. Just wiping it down will push any dirt or debris further into the speaker. But other than that - I have had no issues and find these pleasing to wear, but if I'm going to be in a really loud place or on an airplane I will still bring some traditional noise cancelling ear buds as these are not great in loud environments. But that is not the fault of the ear buds but the proper usage of the technology.

I got these because most earbuds hurt my ears, and I saw Raycon earbuds had a similar style. I purchased these because I figured if I liked the "Cheap" version I would like the Raycon version as well, but I was very pleased and surprised with the sound quality of these. I will say my right ear is slightly smaller than my left, and it doesn't bother my left ear one bit but sometimes my right will get a little tender, though nowhere as bad as regular in-the-ear earbuds. There's not noise cancelling, but the volume and sound quality still does a fantastic job drowning out the noise in my opinion. I highly recommend these. I also use them to take calls for work and I can hear my clients great, though I can't attest to the microphone quality since I have not been on the other end of these.

I really prefer open-earbuds to in-earbuds, cuz after I got some foam tips for better comfort - my ears still get "swamp ear" and get irritated after long use. So I bought Bose Ultra open buds and Shokz open fit buds. Usually I say they are good for what it’s worth. In this case, for what I paid for them, they are not worth it. I finally decided to see if there was a better alternative and stumbled upon these Baseus Bowie MC1 clip earbuds, which seemed like they could be the answer. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜Pro’s: The fit is excellent, the sound is excellent, the ear clip/cuff design is different and good, the fit is pretty secure and won’t fall off, comfortable. When running I hardly noticed I had them on my ears. The sound was good when I was running. The Shokz are really good and probably rank them as one of the best hook buds in the market. For me and my ears, the Baseus is an excellent buy. These are light and fitment is excellent, the sound is superb, the call quality I give to Shokz, the update happened to both and somehow the call quality on the Baseus really improved. I still prefer the physical button over the touch sensitive approach that Shokz went with. I still like the Baseus ear clip design vs the earhook. So which do I prefer. Running and exercising-Baseus without a doubt. Bose Ultra is too expensive, can’t adjust to being closer to ear canal, left me wanting and expecting more from the ear cuff buds. They seem limited when turning them up to 7 or 8 on the flat setting. Should be priced around the Soundcore and Shokz open fit buds price, maybe even pricing them lower like $125-$150 on the high end. For $300 they should have wireless charging, multi point connectivity. Most of all a larger and louder volume level. I’m returning them. My Baseus Bowie MC1 do a better job and lasts my whole 10 hour workday without needing to be charged. These are a great option for an open-ear design at this price point, the sound is very full and balanced, impressive bass and volume without becoming distorted, I rarely feel the need to turn them up too much even when in a noisy area. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜What I liked: ❤1) Very comfortable, light weight, you will not even know that you are wearing it 🧡2) Easy to put on and remove and just one clicker on the back of the ear on each earbud to control settings like volume, play next or previous track, take a call or end it or cycle through the modes (default list of modes can be assigned to each earbud so that you can cycle through the shortcuts you use the most). 💛3) Pushing it downwards inside the ear gives a higher bass and louder sound. My ears are small so this could be different for different ear sizes. The sound quality is premium and you can move it a bit to find the right spot for best sound. 💚4) Call quality is good. I did not face any issues during the call while I was walking outside 💙6) You can hear the surroundings while outside, although some level of noise is reduced so that you enjoy the music. 💜7) Baseus app enables you to: pair the device with your phone, calibrating the earbuds so that you get good sound quality, selecting the equalizer (bass, mid-range, treble) is available. ❤8) The charging case is small and pocketable with good battery life. Up to 9-10 hours of play time and up to an extra 31 hours of battery life in the charging case.

My first try at these and mostly good. Sound quality is better than the other 6 open earbud brands I’ve tried. Fit is all day comfortable. Upper end volume is good but not great. However after almost exactly 5 months of wear the left one about 8hrs/day 4 days a week it went out. It still controls with the button but no audio. I’ve tried a factory reset and it didn’t help. I am ordering another pair from this brand hoping that was a flawed set because the plusses of these over others out weight the inconvenience of one going out. Plus they are inexpensive. Oh and I’ve had the Bose version and these at 1/4 the price are better and stay on your ear better. I also have the inspire model from Bowie and they are a little better than these, with a little better upper volume and better sound quality but thenMC1’s are better than others I’ve tried in that price range.

Sadly, I do not recommend. I simply can’t use them anywhere where there’s more noise than a quiet house or deserted street. If I am walking down the street and even a single car drives by, I can no longer hear my audiobook or podcast, even with the volume all the way up. I even created my own setting in the app to make it as loud as possible, and it’s still not loud enough. Roommates chattering nearby? Nope. Shopping for groceries? Nope. What drives me insane is that I have to constantly adjust them to maintain even the poor quality of sound I already have (sound quality as in comprehensibility/clarity of my music, podcast, or audiobook). What’s worse is that as soon as I move again – swallow, speak, turn my head, even lift or lower my head – they shift and I am right back where I started. I try shifting them up and down, pushing them more firmly against my ear – both the speaker end and the bone conducting end, and widening or pinching them close just to get them to a position where I can hear all the words, and nothing works. I have to hold them against my head with one hand cupped if there’s any bit of background noise. So, I can’t do anything that requires at max two hands. Walk the dogs. Nope. Bike? Nope. Hold a grocery bag and pick up an item at the same time? Nope. Also, my glasses can get in the way. I have to sometimes tilt them higher up my ear or it also jostles the earbuds. On top of that there are random, unpleasantly high-pitched double beeps. I was timing it to see how often it happened, and they beeped three times in ten minutes. I’m sure the settings are trying to tell me something, but I’ve checked the placement of the earbuds, and nothing's touching the button at the top of each earpiece. Finally, sometimes it randomly pauses my audiobook or podcast, and though it’s not unusual with earbuds with easily accessible play/pause buttons (though still annoying), when I try to start it again it no longer is catching the audiobook – as in, the audiobook is showing as playing, but the sound is no longer coming through the earbuds, yet the earbuds are still connected to the device.

After a decade of adjusting ear buds and over-ear headphones that would slip off, these 100% stayed in and on my ears for my 5k run yesterday. They are very lightweight as others have mentioned and fit fantastically. There is a bit of a trade off in sound, not a lot mind you, but you're gaining so much more in headphones that just plain stay put the entire time and you never have to do the dreaded "push them back in every 20 seconds" thing with in ear earbuds. Like a lot of you finding these Baesus earphones I have weird mismatched ear canals. My left is a small, my right is a medium but it did not matter if I got foam, silicone, sticky silicone, grabby silicone, over ear silicone hooks for my earbuds, I was constantly adjusting them. Any given run or workout you'd see me pushing them back in all the time and that's what brought me here, I was DONE. This is honestly the first time in forever I have had headphones without being behind the back, or over the ear, or without being corded, just stay in place the entire time. The Tradeoff: You will hear the note for a sub 80hz bass, drum, low synth but it will not be sustained nor punched. However, for ease of use on your ears and just working when you need them, the sound quality is decent. These are open ears and, yeah, almost all of them built like this will lose some low end. I've been using and collecting hi-fi audiophile gear for a while now and I do have my airplane and "just in my office" really nice over-ear headphones that recreate every detail and will take me down to 20hz. With these headphones its a pretty noticeable miss in the bass. In the Baesus normal mode and EQ* setup, which is pretty good, they recreate the note of the thump of a kick drum, but that's about it, the punch is fairly minimal, however, it doesn't take away the fairly decent sound quality coming out. Really glad I found these! *Do NOT recommend the app settings for EQ or custom EQ, it removes the soundness level by a good 4-5db. Rather odd it affects the mW output THAT much.

Video and sound delay even when low latency is on. Kinda annoying

Le cuffie mi piacciono, ne provo tante diverse e queste nel complesso offrono un buon livello di comfort, ma anche di stabilità e di buona qualità del suono. Il design a clip è interessante: si agganciano bene all’orecchio, non scivolano mai e non danno fastidio nemmeno con occhiali o orecchini. Unico difetto, la misura è una sola quindi se avete le orecchie grandi potrebbero dare fastidio. Il motivo è che la cartilagine dell'orecchio deve stare dentro lo spazio delle cuffie e se ne avete molta dovete comprimerla, con conseguente disagio. A me un po' lo fanno ma non in modo eccessivo, ma non ho orecchie giganti e immagino che altri possano risentirne. Il suono è chiaro, bilanciato, con bassi presenti ma non invadenti. Non isolano completamente dai rumori esterni, quindi non aspettatevi di essere immersi nella musica, ma ne guadagnate in termini di sicurezza stradale. Quando vedo certi ciclisti con cuffie over-ear che li isolano da ogni cosa mi vengo i brividi!! Con queste potete ascoltare tutto quello che vi va ma restando sempre consapevoli di ciò che vi circonda. Perfette per chi si allena in strada o in ambienti dove è importante sentire anche ciò che succede intorno. La batteria ha una durata ottimo, diverse ore (non ho fatto misurazioni precise) e la custodia è compatta e funzionale. In più, con l’app dedicata si possono regolare sia l'equalizzazione che il funzionameno dei comandi touch. Penso siano una scelta azzeccata per sportivi e persone che quando sono in giro non vogliono mai perdere il contatto con la realtà. Le cuffie immersive è meglio usarle solo in ambienti protetti.

Ich war mir anfangs nicht sicher, ob Open-Ear-Kopfhörer wirklich eine gute Wahl sind. Bisher hatte ich immer klassische In-Ear-Kopfhörer genutzt, die gut abschirmen und einen satten Bass liefern. Doch ich suchte nach einer Alternative für unterwegs – besonders beim Spazierengehen, Arbeiten oder Fahrradfahren, bei denen ich meine Umgebung noch wahrnehmen wollte. Die Baseus Bowie MC1 haben mich in dieser Hinsicht wirklich überzeugt. Das C-förmige Clip-on-Design ist nicht nur innovativ, sondern auch sehr praktisch. Die Kopfhörer sitzen sicher und verrutschen selbst dann nicht, wenn ich mich viel bewege. Anfangs fühlte sich das Tragen etwas ungewohnt an, da sie nicht direkt im Gehörgang sitzen, doch nach wenigen Minuten hatte ich mich daran gewöhnt. Was mich wirklich überrascht hat, ist der Klang. Trotz der offenen Bauweise sind die Höhen und Mitten sehr klar, und selbst die Bässe sind für diese Art von Kopfhörern wirklich gut. Natürlich darf man keinen dröhnenden Subwoofer-Bass erwarten, aber die Klangqualität ist insgesamt sehr ausgeglichen. Besonders bei Podcasts und Gesprächen ist die Verständlichkeit hervorragend. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist die lange Akkulaufzeit. Mit einer einzigen Ladung halten die Kopfhörer bis zu 40 Stunden, was mehr als genug für mehrere Tage Nutzung ist. Ich muss sie kaum aufladen und habe immer Musik oder Podcasts zur Hand. Auch die Geräuschunterdrückung bei Anrufen funktioniert einwandfrei – meine Gesprächspartner hören mich klar und deutlich, selbst wenn ich mich in einer belebten Umgebung befinde. Zusätzlich finde ich es super, dass die Kopfhörer IP57-zertifiziert sind, also wasser und staubdicht. Ich habe sie bereits bei leichtem Regen getragen, und sie haben ohne Probleme funktioniert. Auch beim Sport schwitze ich manchmal stark, aber das beeinträchtigt die Funktionalität überhaupt nicht. Alles in allem bin ich wirklich begeistert von diesen Kopfhörern. Sie bieten eine völlig neue Art des Hörens, bei der man nicht von der Außenwelt isoliert ist, und dennoch einen tollen Klang bekommt. Für Sport, Arbeit, Fahrradfahren oder einfach den Alltag sind sie wirklich toll !

Ces écouteurs Baseus sont une véritable innovation dans le monde des écouteurs sans fil. Leur design open-ear à clipser est un pur régal de confort et de praticité, et ils sont très légers et se font vite oublier. Testé sur mes oreilles et celles de ma femme beaucoup plus petites, ça tient parfaitement bien. La qualité sonore est incroyable avec des basses riches et les aigus détaillés, pour une expérience audio immersive. Ils sont équipés du Bluetooth 5.4 donc une connexion est stable et efficace. La réduction du bruit pour les appels est excellente, testée en bordure de route, c'est très distinct et agréable. L'autonomie est un vrai bonheur, près de 9 heures par charge et ils se rechargent automatiquement dans l'étui ensuite. Ils sont étanches, donc parfait pour le sport, même en extérieur s'il pleut. On peut même les connecter à l'application Baseus afin de gérer les paramètres des écouteurs comme on le souhaite, elle est très bien faite et permet beaucoup de réglages. J'adore! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bon … retour sur la commande, sur la photo il était blanc, sur le mail de l’expédition la photo me met des bouchons d’oreilles ( limite en colère) et au final le produit arrive en mauve ( par rapport aux bouchons d’oreilles c’est bien mieux et le prix était nettement inférieur que sur l’autre vendeur Baseus. ) Maintenant pour 20€ ils sont bon, pour appels et lire des podcasts, musicalement, trop d’aiguë à mon goût et l’equalizer personnalisé perd énormément de décibels ( à oublier en extérieur), pour 50€ ils me semble pas valoir le coup, les TOZO open earing bien mieux mais pas multi support. J’oubliais, tenue dans le temps de 9h peut être pas mais quasiment 5h30 en appel continu avec 1 seul ,donc très correct.
