My 90 lb german shepherd loves playing fetch with her large ball. She has "killed" many so-called tough balls by crushing or puncturing them. We have had this ball for over a year of daily fetch play and it has held up well. It doesn't have a squeaky so Nyx isn't inclined to rip it apart like so many other balls. It sometimes get caught in her mouth, because of its waffle structure. But, she's able to put paws on it and pull it out. This ball withstands being crushed by my GSD and can't be punctured. She has made no attempt to rip it apart. So it's money well spent for me. Perfect fetch toy for my big squeakinator.

The ball was as sturdy as I had anticipated, but I wanted a blue ball and didn’t notice that it said colors vary. Dogs prefer blue or yellow.

My Pit-Terrier mix and I go to the local dog park frequently. She's a puppy and needs lots of activity, and loves to play. One day I saw another dog owner who had one of these balls and there were three dogs, including mine, chasing each other playing keep away. They had a ball (pun intended) taking turns grabbing the ball and streaking away with the other dogs in fast pursuit. They were all worn out after a while, which was the goal. Went home and my girl had a good rest. The ball is essentially indestructible. With three dogs with strong jaws and sharp teeth, the ball remained perfect. Highly recommend.

the problem is that I only want a blue ball, other colors are not visible in the woods, I am trying to tell amazon to only ship a blue ball, but I am having tremendous problems.

We need toys that indestructible.... they all fail for some reason or another eventually but if they last 6 months, that is a win. This ball has last 1 year before we had to replace it with another. We just purchased another one. Perfect for my pup.

Our labrador loves this toy. He is obsessed with it. We have to hide it if we want to get any rest from fetch. It's held up pretty well. 1st one lasted about a year before chunks coming off, but he does chew it around in his mouth quite a bit. Great toy for dogs that love to retrieve.

Sigh. It definitely wasn't indestructible, but it did last a couple of months with my German Shepherd puppy who loves to play fetch. I am trying a different brand now.

works well for making my big dog work at a treat

This is my dog Archie's favourite toy, we bought him one about 10 years ago and he still has it despite us living in New Zealand until recently and it being outside in all weathers and us playing rough tug of war with it. The rubber is starting to perish superficially but I reckon the original one still has a few years left. Our new dog took to the ball too so we ordered another one. Great fun and a good size.

We have had a black one of these for a couple of years and its still intact so we got a spare, unfortunately it was damaged on arrival so it has been returned. I will re purchase another one and hopefully the new one will not be damaged as they are usually very robust for large breed dogs. Edit:- The new replacement is damage free and the dog loves giving it a hard time to get the treats out, very robust hence the rating has changed from 1 to 5
