I’ve had three basal cell removals in the past, so when my dermatologist recently flagged a spot on my cheek as borderline basal cell, I didn’t want to wait. We opted for a topical chemo cream instead of Mohs surgery, knowing it would be effective but rough on the skin. The treatment did exactly what it was supposed to do, but the skin clearly needed some focused healing afterward. Once I stopped the cream and the healing phase began, I reached for the Prequel Scar Solutions Silicone Scar Stick. I already use Prequel products, so I trusted the formulation. I have been applying it at least twice daily, and honestly, I've been surprised at how quickly it began helping the healing process. The skin calmed down fast. Texture has improved. Redness has faded. And over time, the area has continued to smooth out to the point where it’s hard to tell anything significant ever happened there. This stick goes on easily, feels weightless, and doesn’t draw attention to itself. It just quietly does the work. If you’re recovering from a treatment or procedure and want something that genuinely supports healing and minimizes visible scarring, this one earns a wholehearted recommendation.

I have used this consistently, at least once / day, for close to a year, and it has worked wonders on several incision scars. The scars from previous surgeries (2-4 years ago) had been thick and raised (and quite ugly). They are all now flat and much smoother, but it does take time and consistent use. It won't make scars disappear overnight.

I love the convenience of this scar stick. It's so easy to apply, much less messy than a traditional silicone gel, and it's become part of my routine. I do think it's helping, but my only complaint is that the product goes pretty quickly. Also, don't press too hard during application because the stick can crumble. As long as you use a light hand, it's easy to apply and works really well.

Mixed review - product seems to be working. No smell despite containing onion bulb extract. Problem is there's only half as much as the tube looks like. I used it one time a day for two and a half weeks and it's gone. Was used on small breast scars. Prequel - please fill the tube or downsize the packaging. The large tube is false advertising for the amount of product you actually get.

Product DOES NOT WORK on old or new scars. Stick is 1/4 filled with product. It finished in less than 2 weeks after applying product twice daily to my face and neck.

This product is amazing! I used it on some flaws caused by sun damage and saw results within 3 days! I can’t believe it!

8 weeks post-op breast conserving lumpectomy with reconstruction. Seems to be doing what it’s supposed to. Scars are soft and healing well and my plastic surgeon is happy with the results. Easy to apply and comfortable on the skin. Doesn’t stain or leave residue on bra.
