Little Zoo Henry Hamster Cage Medium

This item came before the expected delivery date, which I am extremely grateful for. This wasn't purchased for myself, rather my sister who asked me to buy it for her. She is very happy with the item and her little Syrian hamster seems to love it too!The only thing I would say about this was the installation process. This item didn't come with any instructions. Thankfully, there was an online video tutorial that showed step-by-step instructions on how to build this. The total construction time wasn't more than 20 minutes.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE. This is not a even a 1 start rating. It's insulting Amazon force customers to enter in a 1 star rating. Poor User Experience. This has a million minus ratings for me. That would still not do the situation justice for the simple fact it killed my gorgeous white Syrian hamster (RIP Moscow) yesterday. He wasn't even 1 year old..He used to be able to unhook the top level and push the lid up the more mature he got. I have kept an eye on that situation however and have been there and saved him on one occasion where he was struggling to get free of the lid dropping on his head. Back then it wasn't from such a height. He naturally got stronger over time though due to his active, energetic and healthy appetite. Was in good health. This time upon coming home though I was presented with the horrific site of our beloved little hamster with a twisted neck and back completely cold and stiff. Suspecting the poor guy was trying to get free.. I found him still trapped...nightmare doesn't come close. Gutted does not even come close. I urge all hamster owners to not go near this one or the manufacturers. He is irreplaceable and I had to post this to spare you all such a tragedy. He wasn't just a hamster to me for so many reasons not least of all what a gorgeous, active and happy animal he was. Is so hard to accept. Spare yourselves potential heart ache. I condemn this cage for suitability for a hamster or any small pet as it was recommended for :'(. Shame on the manufacturers for putting this in circulation. I would demand compensation however suspect that will not be forthcoming. So tragic and sad. Once again DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE.

Only suitable for 1 Russian dwarf hamster. Any smaller they would get out, any larger there's not enough space.Extremely hard to put together, comes with no instructions and the picture on the box is different so spent a while trying to replicate it before finding out you couldn't. But is possible to do.Very very poor quality, the roof has a large gap in it (I have put a book over it so my hamster doesn't escape). The door does not close properly, I have wired it shut which is pretty inconvinient. You have use so much force to put the cage up lots of the metal bends.Having said that with the book and the door wired shut, my hamster loves it and she cannot get out, the wheel is brilliant and the tubing is also good, I have made it work and am happy with what she's got.For £30 you spend it would probably be worth spending an extra £10 and getting a better quality one as I'm quite sure I'm lucky with how this cage has arrived from delivery and wouldn't be surprised if others came in much worse condition.If your willing to gamble £30, knowing it won't be good quality and you probably have to make some modifications to keep the hamster in then it's a pretty good cage 👍😅

Excellent service from seller. However, the tubes came apart at weekend and hamster excaped (luckily we found her!)Its also a nightmare to clean out is the cage due to where the door is and also as soon as you start deconstructing it - ie taking roof off to get access to top level, the cage becomes quite unstable, then the tubes all come apart!
