Amazing peice of tech. Very fast and extremely easy to use. I added the slide extension which significantly increased the size of items I can engrave and also engrave batches. Plenty of 3D printable accessories and templates are available to extend capabilities.

This is the best laser I’ve found for intricate engravings on wood. It’s portable, fast, and easy to use. The work area is less than a 4 inch square- but if you want to do small, detailed work on wood this is your best bet. This is my second x-tool. I was willing to spend 5x this price- but this suited my needs better. I use it for wood (1/8 inch) and cardboard. It works well with SVGs or black and white PNGs. I also really like x-tool’s software!

I have had and M1 for 3 years and wanted to add to my offer. I couldn't have picked a better machine than this F1 Lite. The quality of the engraving is outstanding. The speed is amazing for such a small unit and Good Lord the small footprint it takes up in my office this fantastic! I couldn't be happier with this machine. If you looking for a small engraver, this is a GREAT option!

This laser is easy to use and seems to work well so far. I am having trouble finding tutorials for the mobile app but there is a number of videos using the PC app. I have not cut anything but I have etched several pieces and the results are impressive. I was able to figure out how to program it to do multiple passes and that improved the results on black anodized aluminum and slate. It is a good way to learn the basics of laser etching at a reasonable cost.

This is easy to use the other brand that i had was hard to use and if you wanted a easier program you had to pay gor it which i refuse to do so i sent it back and got this one and the problem is so much easier to operate now all i have to do is learn the different settings

Wow. This thing is absolutely amazing. I do cutting boards in my free time when I'm not working. I was looking for something better than the Branding Iron and torch which is someone's else's design and unbelievably inconsistent. Now I can import images and create my own logo from images I can get on the internet and save to my desktop, to bring into the software and burn on the boards. I also imported my signature by scanning a piece of paper with signature on it with my scanner. Makes my work look so much more professional with an etched signature. The software is mostly intuitive but also simple, which is nice. I imported a picture of my girlfriend's dog and burned it into a piece of thin Birch, she was absolutely ecstatic about it. That was worth the price right there.

Nice portable laser for smaller projects. Especially Keychains and Earrings.

I really wanted to purchase a laser cutter/engraver but was reluctant to spend several hundred dollars. I originally bought a much cheaper model that wouldn't run. I sent it back and bought the xTool F1 Light. What a difference! The machine worked out of the box with no problems. I literally set it up and completed my first project within 30 minutes of unboxing it! I did download the XCS software ahead of time and figured out the basics of it before the machine arrived. That made things move along a little quicker. This little machine is solidly built and easy to use. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Sehr guter Gerät, leider nach einem Jahr defekt. Sonst war alles top habe viele Projekte damit gemacht. Was ich aber sehr sehr gut fand, dass nach der Rücksendung sich Xtool von alleine gemeldet hatte. Sie haben das Sie viel Wert auf Zufriedenheit der Kunden legen. Da ich mir wieder ein Xtool Gerät kaufen wollte habe ich auch ein sehr gutes Angebot von Xtool bekommen. Das nenne ich Service. Vielen Dank nochmal an Xtool.

Lange habe ich überlegt, Maschinen verglichen und mich letztlich für die F1 entschieden. Sie war nicht erste Wahl, da eine IR-Leistung von 2W schon recht schwach ist, aber die 20W starke F1 Ultra hätte deutlich mehr als den doppelten Preis gekostet und das war für mich nicht verhältnismäßig. Schnelle Lieferung, sehr gute Verpackung, alles sehr ordentlich. Nach nur kurzer Installationsarbeit für die Anschlusskabel und den Luftreiniger war die Maschine schnell einsatzbereit. Bisher getestet habe ich Kunststoff (Kugelschreiber), Alu, Filz, Messing, Ebonite, Holz, Schiefer, MDF, HDF, Stahl verchromt, vergoldet und blank: Die Ergebnisse sind für meinen Zweck zufriedenstellend. Namengsgravuren funktionieren gut auf Metall, man darf aber wegen der geringen Leistung keine Reliefgravuren erwarten. Bei Schieferplatten sieht das anders aus, das funktioniert wirklich sehr gut und mit mehreren Durchgängen (also 4-5x) wirkt die Gravur auch richtig schön tief. Ich kann nur empfehlen, sich Übungsmaterial zu beschaffen zum Ausprobieren der Einstellungen und die Settings dann zu speichern. Sonst verliert man sehr schnell den Überblick... Fazit: Ich kann die F1 empfehlen, der trotz Angebot (2050 € für das große Set mit Luftreiniger, Rotation und Verlängerung) doch ziemlich deftige Preis ist durch die vielfältigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten gerade noch so zu rechtfertigen.

Ich bin uneingeschränkt mit diesem handlichen Laser und Zubehör zufrieden. Habe den F1 zum als Zweitlaser zum personalisieren diverser Artikel angeschafft, die ich auf Märkten verkaufe. Das Handling ist wirklich einsame Spitze. Ich habe als Hauptlaser einen 60wCO2 Laser, und überlege tatsächlich ob ich diesen gegen ein weiteres Modell von XTool ersetzen. Für Profis oder Einsteiger, die flexibel und Mobil lasergravieren oder auch nur kleine Projekte ausführen möchten, ist das Gerät echt super.
